Guess Waiters left the combine, word is he has a promise:

The leading suspects for the alleged Dion Waiters promise - according to a team executive with good reason to find out - are Toronto (No. 8) and Phoenix (No. 13). The Syracuse shooting guard pulled out of yesterday's interviews and is believed to have left the Chicago predraft event.

Doug Smith: B. Colangelo on Waiters stuff: "His agent has told me there's a promise to another team. Regardless, if he's on the board he's in our mix."

Did the Orange mis-use Waiters? So much NBA love for the guy yet they brought him off of the bench. Or just better suited to pros?

Jason Lloyd: And whoever is counseling Dion Waiters is giving him bad advice. "Promises" are broken in every draft. Foolish to cancel all workouts

^^^ Still surprising to me. I just don't see him as lottery talent. Maybe he'll be the surprise of the draft.

I really love the draft and all the drama. It makes me sad that the Jazz are on the outside trying to buy in, when they should've, could've, almost had 2 lottery picks.

Measurements are hilarious. Scouts have been watching these guys for atleast 2 or 3 years but now because of a measurement guys will start falling or rising. We on the sidelines put too much emphasis on measurements too, its easy to look up on a the internet and compare and spend hours talking about it.

All of the nba combine measurements have been added to the draftExpress data base.

Wow Marshall has short arms and a long neck. So he is going to be undersized and slow at the point guard position. Note his standing reach is lower than Jameer Nelson's. I really want not part of him on my team.

Waiters and Rivers are going to be combo guards/ undersized shooting guards.
 
Per DX Kyle O'Quinn measured 6"10", 240 lb with a standing reach of 9'3.5". That is legit center size.

Royce White measured 6'8" 260 with a standing reach of 8'8.5". That is pretty close to Millsap's size.

I like both of those measurements. Royce White will throw people around though.
 
If KOC lets the Spurs nab Machado in the second round, like they will because they're smart, I hope Gail beats him with her purse.

All I want is a little chess play, with the end result being Drew Gordon and Machado in the second round. Seems like an easy score based on current projections. Do work KOC, do work.
 
I wonder if Jae Crowder paid the people doing measurements. He measured a whole inch taller than he did at New Jersey without shoes, and he gained nearly two inches to his height with shoes on.
