Will I get flack for wearing my Stockton jersey?

/likeigivea****

I realize you are kidding, but just keep in mind you aren't in Edmington anymore.

Probably 1 out of 3 people you will see in LA are in a gang. Hopefully you have fun on your trip, but your #1 goal should be survival. Just try and blend in as much as possible.

Frankly, if you don't get raped, murdered, or both then the trip is a success.

You'll know when you are venturing into bad territory. I have family that live in Cypress. There is a bridge that connects them to Hawaiian Gardens. On the Cypress side there are gas stations without bars on their windows. Whereas, someone made a fortune selling window bars on the Hawaiian Gardens side.

Seriously? Woah. So wearing an Orioles Jersey to an dodgers game = bad idea? Why is America so scary..... :(

That being said, you really do need to go check out a Dodger game at Dodger Stadium/Chavez Ravine if they aren't on the road. It is a great experience. I guess you could check out an Angel game instead, but Angel Stadium or whatever they call it these days(used to be Edison Field when I went) was kind of blah.

Do you have a death wish? I'm assuming you heard about The Giants fan who was put in a coma for nothing more than enjoying a day at the ball park with his fam but he wore the wrong jersey.

I might be over selling the dangers of LA, it's just that I want you to be aware. In all reality though, as long as you are white you should blend in fine and nobody will mess with you. LA is easily one of THE most racialist areas in the states, not a very welcoming area for minorities.

I'm assuming that as a Canadian this won't be a problem for you. Again just wanted a fellow JazzFanz brother to be aware.

It is not that bad. You will know when you are getting to a bad area.

Basically use a little common sense and you will be fine.

One more thing I will recommend. If you want to go to a beach to body surf, then go to Huntington. I have never had decent waves at Newport or Seal Beach to be honest. Then again, you can just go to them all if you feel like it. Oh and if you somehow can(fake ID or what not) and want to party some night, then check out the famous 7th street in Long Beach..... It will surely be full of drunk hotties. So if you get the chance, I would check it out.

Just don't park at the Walgreens on 7th street and expect to go partying from there. Because your *** will get towed. I warned and warned my cousin to no avail. We get done drinking and partying and his truck is gone.

You said you were coming to Utah. Lies!

On a serious note. I've never been to L.A., but I did go hiking at Muir Woods when I was in San Francisco and it was amazing. You'll have a grand ol' time at Redwood Forest. Update us. My sister and I are planning a trip and we're debating between New York, L.A., Orlando (Harry Potter theme park!!), and a cruise.
