Following potential 2012 draftees

Through the course of this thread, there was a lot of hand-wringing about whether we would get the 8th pick (GST).
There was also a lot of hand-wrining as to whether we'd get the 14th pick.

So, as a last pointless hurrah .. who would you take, if your're the Jazz, with the 8th AND the 14th?

8th wold be Lillard. In the case that Lillard isn't there, I'm trading the 8th and TPE for Luol Deng (if that was possible). 14th I'm taking Kendall Marshall (or a wing in the case we get Lillard)

I had Lillard and Marshall .. redundant, I know, Kahn, I know .. but depending who else is available at 14, there could be worse picks to see who is in fact better .. and have a PG to trade.
 
8th- If Barnes/Drummond/Lillard werent there, I'd take Jeremy Lamb. I know most don't like him but the Jazz could've used a shooter. Rivers also in contention if the Jazz felt he could play point.

14th- Terrance Ross or Myers Leonard if he was there. If you go big with the 8th, I would've gotten Ross even if Leonard was available. Marshall also a possibility

I thought about saying Ross. Even though I don't really like him, he is a 3pt shooter with enough size to play SF.
 
I actually think Waiters could be done a disservice if he goes 4. There is no way in hell he lives up to the expectations and will be forever (unfairly, since he's clearly a borderline top 10 talent) labeled a bust.

Austin Rivers
Though the idea of having 3 SG's doesn't really sit well with me.


14- (assuming DX board on who is available)
Tough choice between Terrence and Perry Jones......
Terrence Jones because of the bad medical rumors going on about Perry.
 
Thing that worries me about Rivers is that he reportedly has the "Kobe" attitude. That is great when you are Kobe or Michael, but if you're an OK NBA player, it really sucks.
