Jazz trade Devin Harris to Atlanta for Marvin Williams (merged)

I know Johnson's contract sucks, but they sure didn't get much from the Nets for him. Wonder if we could have enticed them with a Big Al, Devin Harris, and the GSW pick for Johnson? That seems better than the garbage they got from the Nets, and it still gives them expiring contracts. A SG isn't our big need, but if we slide Hayward to the 3 a starting lineup of Mo Williams, Joe Johnson, Hayward, Millsap, and Favors could have been interesting. Would have screwed our financially flexibility though so probably wouldn't have been worth it.

I know that others have commented, but I feel as though I need to add to this discussion.

Doing that was a much better way of expressing my feeling rather than stabbing the next person that I saw which will undoubtedly be someone that I actually like. Just say no to Joe Johnson.

D-will, crash, Joe, Brook Lopez,Humphries (If signed) and Marshon Brooks isn't a bad start. Although how will D-Will and Joe co-exist, both need the ball a lot

Not a bad start but they are not contending either. If they are not contending then what is the point of DWill staying?

DWill and Joe can both play off the ball enough.
Distribute the minutes so that you always have one on the floor. I can see it working. They got Joe for peanuts, and, suddenly, things might work out in Brooklyn. Their contracts will suck, but they'll have talent.

If they're tearing it down, I wonder if Al Horford is available.

Too much money. I like Horford but less than 9 rebounds in 36 minutes a game at 12M a year for a few more years. Nah. He's a solid defender and I'd like him at the 4 and Favors at the 5 but still, too much money methinks. We'd have very good size. But Supposedly Favors wants to be a 4 and I don't like the idea of Horford at the 5 anyway even though he's played most of his career there.

Gotta blow it up. That team underachieved.

New GM and he inherited 6 players with 61 million in guaranteed contracts. 3 years in a row they fell flat in the playoffs. Gotta imagine that Teague and Horford are the only untouchables.

The Pacers just signed Hill to a four or five year extension. I would've liked Collison here but with Mo now, it's never happening.

That can be had anywhere. Being stuck on a team going nowhere is not worth it to DWill. At least that is what I imagined that he would say if I talked to him about it.

Well, I think he can sign for like $20 million more if stays with the Nets. I think he stays.
