Mo Williams not wearing a headband?

The Watson thing really annoyed me just because he had been "We don't care who gets the minutes we are family!" about the PG minutes.

When Watson complained to the media after losing his primary back up role due to injury, the very next game Corbin let him finish the game - which he never did before. And Utah lost at home in OT (I can't remember against who). All this While Harris was playing his best ball of the year and Tinsley was outplaying Watson as well.

As far as the Raja Bell incident is concerned, I'm not quite sure who was right and who was wrong - it doesn't really matter. The bottom line is The Jazz played out the last 20 games of the seasons and the playoffs less one roster spot. In my view this failing falls squarely on the shoulders of managment - Corbin and KOC. Yes, it may not of made a difference in the end. But that's not the point. It looks bush league and dysfunctional.

I agree this is a big year for Corbin. But I guess my frustration lies in the fact that we're stuck with this guy in that other a complete meltdown this guy is here to stay.

Yeah, I think Corbin handled the Raja thing poorly most likely. Sounds like there is some passive-aggressive personal beef between the two. I don't think Raja is really a "meltdown, tear the locker room apart" dude. I think he understands he is over-the-hill and is just happy to be getting paid to an extent. I'm sure he would love to be traded, but he knows that it isn't the easiest proposition.

If he was that bad how did he make the playoffs with this team when almost everybody didn't pick them to make it? You are just nitpicking here. Sloan had had equally worse situations with Giricek and Ostertag before. He threw Giricek out of a game if I remember right and the Jazz had to scramble for a trade to get rid of him.He didnt see much playing time for a lot of games.Coaches have their own way of handling insubordination.
If Corbin had kissed and made up and played Bell for 25+ mins, still people here would have complained that he yielded easily and favors veterans all the time and that Bell has no business of being on the court.
Here is a guy who was in the running for COY after all and people are still complaining. And he didn't even get enough practice time to prepare for the season with the lockout and all.

The no-headband rule is another misconception. Sloan himself said multiple times, "if the team wants to wear headbands, then the whole team has to wear them."

Although I think it was a way to keep the players from wearing them, Jerry always gave the team the option.

LOL @ John, Karl, and Ostertag wearing headbands.
Karl, perhaps. But whenever I think "white guy wearing headband" this comes to mind. Sorry, but what has been seen cannot be unseen. It will forever be engraved in my mind. Clip also features a smiling, good-humored Raja. Now that's RETRO!

I think it'd be pretty damn funny if the players voted to wear headbands and the Utah Jazz was the only team in the history of the NBA where every player wore a headband every game. It would really make our franchise stand out.

If Mo Williams is the leader we hope he is he will make this happen.
