ha ha , some of you think the NY Times is liberal, I wonder if your heads would explode watching something that is really progressive.

How about Pacifica Radio, or CSpan, or Noam Chomsky, or The Atlantic Magazine, or Mother Jones Magazine, or The Nation?
Have you ever been exposed to these?

You can't handle the truth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's on DirectTV. That Deadliest Journeys show I listed in the favorite TV shows thread is on that channel. I think I watched Hoop Dreams on that channel too. But yes, other than that it's an Al Gore owned crap fest of a channel otherwise.

I don't watch it a lot, but Eliot Spitzer is way better than most journalists, so I don't think it is all crap. It is definitely liberal, but just because it is opinionated, doesn't mean its wrong.

I got tired of them years ago....

I am left of center, but I was annoyed with the blind support of the Democrat and Obama agendas right or wrong, and also tired of Colbert's sarcasm shtick that he never breaks from. Enough already.
They were funny when they were ripping Bush, because then they were speaking the truth.

Spitzer is making some critical implications against Geitner (Dem) tonight, talking about the Libor scandel. This (Viewpoint) may be the best news related show on TV now.

I actually enjoy Spitzer virtually every time he shows up on tv. There's something obviously liberating and freeing about knowing that the worst thing that could happen to you already happened.

I enjoy their documentaries on cartels and gangs. Got to hand it to their journalists. They go the extra mile

Agree with that, I forgot to mention those. The Vanguard reporters always do a pretty good job. I wish they had more viewers or whatever would incline them to make more documentary type shows or acquire more documentary type shows.. It seems like Current TV's whole lineup and backlog, sans the every day news shows, could be knocked out in a matter of hours. Every time I look at the channel on my guide it's something I've seen and I don't watch a ton of T.V.

They do some documentaries I like, when I bother going to that part of the Directv world.

Yeah, that's the first thing I thought of. They did one on the street gangs of El Salvador (or maybe Guatemala...one of those Central American countries). Talk about going to some dangerous *** places, though I enjoy seeing parts of the world that I wouldn't dare go to.

Tosh.who? Brett Erlich did it first, and better.
