The Blazers have officially announced that they are matching the Wolves' offer to Batum. The Rockets are waiting for a couple of guys to clear waivers and then will finally have Omer Asik sign his offer sheet.

He wanted to have his cake (be close to his kids) and eat it too (compete for a title). No matter what he says I think you could flip the order of those priorities. The funny thing about Jamison is that he was considering going to the Bobcats to be with his family during the season. There's no mistaking his priorities.
