Sloan Coulda shut down Jordan

Jerry Sloan was first all-defensive team many times in his career. After Jordan had a big night against the Jazz in Chicago, a Chicago reporter asked him if he coulda stopped Jordan.

Sloan said: "I'm fairly confident I coulda shut him down in my prime."

Looking to call Sloan's bluff, the reporter then asked him why no current NBA player could stop Jordan.

Sloan said: "Because he's the greatest player in the game today. But when I was in my prime he was only 8 years old."

Sloan, he ROCKS, eh!?

LOL; made my day, Hopper!! I saw a lot of Jerry as a player. Just like the Jazz, he had good teams around him, but there was always another team or 2 just a little better.
