I am a long time jazz fan (35 years) and a long time reader of this and other boards. I don't post much, but I read everything. Wanted to say hello.

Mr. Stern I did not try to make you mad as nooby. I had tried to post several times over the last week and it never worked. So instead of typing a disertation that gets deleted, I just sent in a hello. sorry to waste your time.

Grow thicker skin. As a long time reader, you must know that is the norm around here.

What he said^ Prepare to be trolled and flamed. This is one of the least friendly forums you'll find in these here parts. Though, I have seen much worse. Seen much nicer too :)

While this place can be riddled with hate or immaturity, it is by far the best place to discuss our beloved Jazz. You just have to remember that, we all love the Jazz. But, much like a nation, we all have different opinions on how it should be run, and how it can improve. So you'll find a similar temperament on these forums as you might on a political forum.

Anyway, welcome to JazzFanz :)
