Haha, good point.. damn. I was a very shy, reserved kid. At the time, it didn't really hit me that I was missing the most important game of my life. My parents were fighting constantly, things were really stressful, and I just kind of kept my mouth shut for the first year or two when we moved down here. I WILL find out the results of the game before I die. I just wish I could remember last names.

Wait, wait.. I want to say Mom had asked me several times if she wanted to call and see if they won and I said no.. I'm not for 100% certain but I want to say she did ask at least once. I'll have to ask her the next time we talk.

And sorry, it dawned on me after I posted that you were talking about the championship of a camp game. So naturally, these weren't friends you had spent a season with. Sorry to hear about your rough time with your parents. Mine divorced when I was 7. I remember a lot of arguing, but being so young, I think I was kind of isolated from it. And out of that, my father would generally take me to a Utah Stars, SL Angels or SL Golden Eagles game - or bowling - for his Saturday visits.

The only thing I can ever remember my Dad doing is drinking. My parents finally got divorced earlier this year. They said they wanted to stay together for us kids. They don't realize that sticking together really put a strain on all our relationships as a family. No one talks to my Dad anymore. In fact, I haven't spoken to him since last Christmas. I absolutely love my Mom to death, though. She's always been there for me. Both parties are much happier now, so that's good.

So missing one day of Jr Jazz camp has permanently soured your relationship with your father? Wow, that's sad.

Ohhhhh, no. I could write book about how horrible my Dad has been to my brothers, my mother, and I. That really wasn't a huge thing at all. Just one of many, many instances of my dad not caring about anyone but himself.

And my Mom and I talk quite a bit. Yeah, it's okay to call me a momma's boy.

On another note, I couldn't tell you within any respectable radius where any of those places are except maybe 2. I need to go back and re-take my elementary Utah geography courses apparently.

Southeastern Utah... Monticello is really nice. Hopefully, Favors will be spending some time in the red rocks of Moab as well.

They're doing 2 or 3 of those clinics a day. I don't think there's much time for recreation.

Right now I am in Saarbrucken (family). Next week I will be in Berlin. I have no idea where I will be my last week and a half. I am about Europe'd out... I can not wait to get back to Utah mid-August.
