Here's my first dump;

Politics is generational. Consider the thuggery practiced by the Democrats recently in Wisconsin. Force, intimidation, and openly partisan, unprofessional conduct on the part of judges, civil servants, physicians, and policemen became on the part of left-liberals the order of the day, and no one on the left stood up to denounce this conduct. Now, thanks to our President's admiration for the tactics of Saul Alinsky, others in other states are imitating the deportment of the Wisconsin left-liberals - not only heckling Republican candidates but attempting to storm the platforms on which they speak.

I remember when left-liberals insisted on civility. I remember when they condemned the tactics of intimidation championed by the New Left. I remember when progressives insisted on impartiality on the part of judges, civil servants, policemen, and those who purported to be reporting the news (as opposed to espousing opinion). There were always exceptions to the rule. Dan Rather was playing tricks as early as 1963. But, when caught and exposed, these exceptions took it on the chin. Today they rarely even apologize.

I remember when liberals sported on their automobiles bumper stickers reading, "Hatred is not a Family Value." Then, back in 2003, in The New Republic, Jonathan Chait wrote an essay explaining why it was legitimate to hate George W. Bush, and the dam burst. Civility is no longer a liberal ideal. And now - as yesterday's armed attack on the Family Research Council in Washington, the five-hour delay in President Obama's condemnation of the act as he calculated whether it was in his interest to comment or not, and the mainstream media's initial reluctance to report on the event, much less highlight the activist LGBT connections of the shooter suggest - left liberals are willing to wink at violence. It may be regrettable, they think, but, like stealing elections, it is all in a good cause - and before figuring out how to respond to an outbreak of violence on the part of their allies, they pause to calculate the political consequences. You will not hear liberals arguing for a crackdown on the use of force by animal-rights activists, environmental activists, union thugs, and the Occupy movement. Instead, you will find in them a desperate hankering to pin on the Tea Party responsibility for conduct the Tea-Partiers abhor and a willingness to engage in race-baiting and talk of class warfare on a stunning scale.

I would add cyclical. You see similar patterns.

I remember when left-liberals insisted on civility. ... I remember when liberals sported on their automobiles bumper stickers reading, "Hatred is not a Family Value." ... This is a massive case of selective perception. Violence and mass misbehavior have always been part of both sides of the American political spectrum, rising and falling in some generations. In the 1920s, it was liberals that formed unions, some of which destroyed the property of the factory owners. In the 1960s, it was liberals who took over the buildings of college campuses. Humans have a tendency twoward violence, and liberals are no less human than conservatives.

I remeber it being fashionable to hate Reagan.

Unless some of the LGBT connections are actually organizations that promote violence, why do you think they are relevant to the shooter?

What elections do you think were stolen by liberals?

I regularly read liberals who advocate for crackdowns on animal-rights activists and environmental extremists. I'm not aware of a "union thug" movement. I agree they tend to support Occupy movements, but most Occupy movements are peaceful.

Close to 90 percent of states saw their unemployment rates rise in July, a potentially worrisome development for President Obama’s reelection campaign.

The Labor Department reported Friday that 44 states in all saw their jobless rate go up, with four states seeing no change at all. Only Idaho and Rhode Island — along with Washington, D.C. — saw their rates drop last month.

I remember when dave mustaine said Obama staged the two recent mass shootings, and has turned American into Nazi Germany.
Oh wait, that was yesterday.

When is someone going to put the blame where blame should go. Those business owners who cut jobs and are lining their pockets are the same one that are causing this recession to deepen. And if we are so worried about government debt when they start slashing jobs just watch those unemployment numbers explode. Haven't you ever hear of the water cycle it is the same with a healthy monetary system there needs to be a circular pattern of movement. But, the rich are taking from the system and no matter what the government feeds to keep the system a float there to many taking instead of reinvesting back into the community.

Oh give me a break.

1. Business owners keep cutting and slashing jobs because the government has let prices inflate to astronomical numbers.
2. It's the Federal Reserve and their horrible monetary policies, scientifically created bubbles, and fiat currency is what's causing this "depression" to deepen.
3. Let's not even take into account the effect Obamacare has on business owners, and they're decision making as to whom they lay off.
4. There's never been a circular pattern of movement in this country, because the Fed scientifically creates recessions and depressions at their very will.
5. The rich have always taken from the system, and always will. That's why they're rich.
How can you force the rich to reinvest in the community?
Oh that's right, the government continues to encourage the rich to invest in other countries communities, and then they just import their goods right back into the U.S. under the guise of free trade agreements.

Interesting to watch to see if Obama's indifference to the national media will change how they coddle him....even Politco is noticing. I do, however, understand why he is spending his time pandering to People, ET, and other low-involvement audiences as they are more prone to buy his 8th grade level of marketing.

"I hate the fact that they have made me worry more about access than reporting. Why build a press briefing room if the president isn't going to brief the press?" NBC News chief White House correspondent Chuck Todd told POLITICO, who said the White House's disregard for the press has "reached a new low." "Both campaigns say the press doesn't cover them seriously. But the more they cordon us off, the harder it is for us to report on the issues."

ABC News chief White House correspondent Jake Tapper made his frustrations with the White House known in a terse blog post hammering home how much time has elapsed since the president's last presser.

"I know that defenders of the president will say the White House press corps is just being whiny. But the bottom line is presidents set precedents," Tapper told POLITICO. "So President Romney, or Ryan, or whomever the next Republican president will be, will be able to use President Obama as a benchmark. And today's defenders of today's president may not find tomorrow's president's avoidance of questions not about chili or fave songs as acceptable."

Indeed, Obama has held half as many availabilities as his two most recent predecessors at this point in the year of their reelection campaigns, according to data provided by Towson professor and presidential scholar Martha Joynt Kumar. At the same point in their reelection campaign, George W. Bush and Bill Clinton had held 17 and 16 pressers, respectively. Obama has held just eight.

Definitely agreed here.
Amazing how Politico is actually noticing.
"8th grade level marketing" is a perfect description of Obama's "Yes we can" rockstar attitude campaign strategies.

This seems to be what Obama has been up to during wars that continue under his watch.
