My 1000th Post!

One of the greatest moments of my life!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jcVzcPOP0Sw

Whoever made this video cut out one play. I will give rep for the first person to answer which play was cut out. I know there is someone else on this board who remembers this game vividly. It is arguably the greatest Jazz moment ever.

Congrats, bro. If I had only the standard of quality of posts as yours, I'd just now be making my 1000th as well.

Congrats! Now where the hell am I at?

EDIT: 8more till 2,000.
I'm not going to say anything unless it's absolutely necessary. I want to make these count.

EDIT: I'm only going to reply in edits and reps so my post counts don't go up for casual posts.

EDIT to Hack: I dunno. I'll create a troll thread a la Blues.

Thanks for the congrats and all (It's appreciated), however, I was a little more curious if anyone else knows the play that was cut out of the clip.

someone from houston missed off the glass. i wanna say it was drexler.

Bingo. We have a winner!

I remember it. The Rockets had a chance to play for the last shot. In fact, I remember getting excited when Drexler made his move early. I became elated when he missed. We would have never had the "Stockton shot" if it wasn't for Drexler's enormous mistake. I have no idea why it is cut out of this clip.

It looks like I have given out too much rep. I will rep you, theNBAnerd, when the system stops holding me down!

true. although even if he had missed at the buzzer, i still like the jazz's chances in a hypothetical overtime period. stockton was in a zone like never before, and houston was scared and stunned. you can see it in their body languages and faces in that clip. the fans were more nervous than they were nervously excited. (even after the rox made it 100-98, the sound from the crowd wasn't a cheer - it was like a collective sigh, and then within 3-4 seconds it was back to a nervous buzz.) in other words, ALL the momentum was in our favor, and the rockets had tried several different guys to guard john and nobody could touch him.

aww, memories....
