That's what I thought, but it seems like people aren't that high on him.
I thought about taking Wilt just for the simple fact he was voted second best player in that poll, in the NBA forum. I thought that might help my team win. After all your team wins by vote. However, I am surprised he slipped considering the results of that poll. It appears when it comes down to it, people don't think he is #2 after all.
I considered all that, but decided I would rather build a team I see as being really good.

I misspelled his name like a week ago in another thread, so a few people have been spelling his name that way ever since as a joke.

My thought process exactly. I think there are plenty of people who think Shaq would beat Wilt head-to-head.
All time rankings take in too much b.s. to be meaningful. Money influx has given the post 80's players an unmeasurable advantage. Talent influx too.
Another deciding factor for me is leader boards showing Wilt Wilt Bill Bill Wilt Bill Wilt Wilt. That's nothing more than a product of an amateur league, amateur players, & amateur rules. I'll give them respect on the all time greats charts, but not in the talent category.
