Jazzfanz ALL-TIME Fantasy Draft

I have a question. This could apply to any player, but it mainly applies to players who either had their careers cut short by injuries or who only played like superstars for a limited number of years due to injury. Are we allowed to to say that we are only focusing on a player for a period of 5 or 6 years or are we just looking at their entire career averages?

We're essentially taking players from their best years. But if a player's career was severely damaged by injuries, that might affect how voters see them...even if we are technically picking them in their good years. Just something to keep in mind.

It's an excellent point. Voting is highly subjective all around.

OK people, I'm logging out for today, I'll be back tomorrow evening... JK. I'm off Wednesdays. So I'll be back in the morning(in my time zone) which is 7-10 hours away(depends on my mood in the morning).

You know that even with this warning, everyone will still give you a hard time if we end up waiting on you, right?

Before you go, can you give us your thoughts on Sabonis?

No problem mare, I would fight back. I like fighting.

Before you go, can you give us your thoughts on Sabonis?

Sure, here is my elder bro's ranking...

First Tier
Sabonis
Petrovic
Galis

Second Tier (Not close)
Diamantidis
Nowitzki
Bodiroga
Toni Kukoc
Sergei Belov
Parker (Barely)

He puts him over Petrovic, he says he was better than most of greatest players of the NBA. Even if you haven't watched Petrovic, you can have an idea as Dirk and Parker are not even close to him.

If you ask who the hell your brother, I can say that he's a Basketball God, knowledge wise.

So you had his approval.

As a prospect, there were people who thought Sabonis could be the best center of the modern era. He had a complete game. The problem was that he suffered two ruptured achilles tendons when he was in his early 20s, and he never was able to develop to his potential. He's still good. He's huge and was an excellent passer and could hit set shots out to the 3-pt. line. But he couldn't really run the floor and couldn't elevate. He was still a factor when he played with the Blazers in the late 90s.

Taking suggestions. The format relegated me into two not #1's and a helluva lot of space in between picks. I have to get creative.
