Wilson is lurking too. We just saw the best game Brown will have in his career.

I don't think so. Not this year. I picked up Wilson thinking he was the guy. But he isn't quite ready. Doesn't know the plays yet. Doesn't really matter at this point. It's all about Brown right now as long as he is healthy.

I think you''ll make a mistake not picking up Brown if he is available. This won't be just a fluke. His game is for real. Trust me. I'm putting my reputation on it.

Mark my words. Brown will be one of the top fantasy backs this season.

Again, I did not watch the game, but the opinions I'm seeing have a lot of praise for Brown and a lot of weird assumptions regarding WRs. I like the enthusiasm for Brown but am down on the hype for Barden. Also it's retarded to assume that Bradshaw is suddenly not their #1. This is one game. Yes get Brown but don't drop a real RB for him.

Pound for pound Bradshaw is one of the toughest guys in the league - he played last year and played well with a broken bone in his foot. He'll be fine. Having said that there is nothing wrong with having a little competition at his position. In the end it will only help the team.

Wilson looks scared out there right now. And he plays very small - he's been run over out on the field a few times and he can't block to save his life. And if you're going to be a running back for The Giants, you have to be able to block guys bigger than you - their offensive sets depend on it. Things can change but right now he's not a factor.

Barden was actually on the bubble this pre-season - he's been on the team for a few years and hasn't been able to make any contribution. He deserves major credit for steppin gup but I'd take his performance with a grain of salt being Carolina's pass defense is horrid and Eli has been in a zone since the second half of the Tampa Bay game last Sunday.

You guys give too much credit to Bradshaw. The dude sucks balls. I have seen every Giants game since they invented the Sunday NFL ticket. So I know this team well. And I'm telling you Bradshaw sucks. The giant's were dead last in running the football last year. It was a miracle they won the superbowl. Jacobs was even worse than Bradshaw.

I think Coughlin will continue to give Brown a large chunk of the carries even when Bradshaw comes back. Coughlin isn't like Jerry Sloan and Ty Corbin, He''ll go with the hot hand. Just like he did with Victor Cruz last year.

I'll say it again. Brown is going to surprise a lot of people this year and tear up the league. Giants haven't had a back this good since Tiki Barber. Brown wouldn't have to surprise the league like this if he wouldn't have torn his achilles right after the Giant's drafted him in 09. He is just now getting his explosiveness back. Brown is fast and a big guy who reads the holes really well.

I guess we'll see.

I did try and pick him up in both my leagues last week, but he was grabbed by people higher on the waiver wire.

I just don't think he is going to be the unquestioned #1 guy for NY, but yeah if he's available in your league, go get him obviously. Can't imagine he's available in many leagues.

Good news:

I played Brown as my RB.

Bad news: I played Steve Smith and Lafell together this week thinking that they'd have a ball game against the NY Giant corners....

I think you folks are overrating Bradshaw waaayyyyy too much. He's fumble and injury prone.

He was fumble prone earlier in his career - not as much now.

Injuries have been a problem; but he plays through them a lot too - as I said last year he played several games with a broken foot. YB85 still has a hard on for some guy who played one game with a broken bone in his leg (non-weight bearing I might add) 30+ years ago. Doesn't Bradshaw get a little credit for playing RB a good portion of the year (and the playoffs) with a broken foot?

He's also the best pass blocking feature backs in the NFL - which is a very under rated asset in the NFL

It looks like Garcon is out...

That leaves me with WR choices of Decker and Welker. Ugh. Guess I'll go with Welker. There's no chance the Pats bench him in favor of Edlemen again, right? I mean, if they hope to beat the Ravens they've gotta use Welker, right?

As much as I'd like to start Pitta I just can't start him over Witten. Dallas at home against the Bucs just seems like a guaranteed rout with Romo tossing for 400+ and Witten finally returning to his normal self.

I did just sign Daryl Richardson. If Jackson is out, he could be an option. Of course, the Rams are playing against the Bears... Yikes.

Sure.

I'm just not that high on Bradshaw. I feel like Brown has that "burst" that the other Giant RBs lack.
