Are you buying a Nintendo Wii U?

If you haven't heard, Nintendo is coming out with a new console to be released November 18th, for either $299 or $349.

Are you planning on upgrading your Wii?

I have a Wii and PS3. I will probably wait till whatever comes after the Wii U and PS4.

This is probably the game I am most excited about. Really seems to use the gamepad well.

That looks pretty bad ***, changing my mind about getting it. The extra screen/remote thing seemed dumb to me.

I think at first most games won't use the extra screen to it's full potential. There are some obvious ways to use it (sniping, toolkit, menu options, etc.), but I hope a year or two after the Wii U is out that some really innovative ideas are implemented into the games.

One more video to show. It has Jimmy Fallon turning himself into a zombie at the end. Also gives a better idea of the size of the controller.

Considering that my wii gets used to let the kids play Mario kart and the sports game it came with, my answer is going to be no.

I wouldn't be surprised if the tepid response in this topic shows itself on a massive scale. I doubt that $300-350 price point lasts very long. I know Nintendo thinks of themselves as the great innovators of the gaming world now and not beholden to graphical prowess, but still, these games aren't looking too hot out of the gate.

Give me a good Zelda game and a new F-Zero and maybe I'll buy one at some point.

The problem I have is that they are starting to come out to fast. There are 3 main companies now and as soon as the newest middle ships they start work on the next model. To much money to fast. You figure $300-500 for the original consol. $40 for extra controlers, then $60 a pop for a new game. I dropped 1,000 on my PS3 andably $800 on the Wii.

Wii U preorders are selling out.
