Your mom is interesting! Seriously, though, I don't see Jimmer as being enough of a PG to be in the backcourt with Hayward.
It's true. My sources say that's the only thing holding up the big trade. Sacramento is claiming Jimmer >>>> valuable to Utah than just his basketball contributions. Ticket sales would go way up. Stores wouldn't be able to keep his jersey in stock in Utah county. Kings are said to be holding firm on their demands for two unprotected 1st's + $3M in cash for Fredette. And Utah will not give up Jefferson + Kanter for Cousins without also getting "The Jimmer" as part of the overall trade.I thought you were going to take the angle of those two are working out because they might become teammates. I was going to squash that idea immediately. Oh, leave my mom out of this.

Jimmer's the throw-in. The trade isn't allowed without that salary addition.
Is Cousins worth it then?

An assertive Gordon Hayward: "We missed the playoffs the first year. Made it —barely — the second year. This year needs to be better."
Brian T. Smith @tribjazz
Even more assertive Hayward: He wants to become an #NBA All-Star and is eyeing an eventual spot on the Olympic roster.
Here are some words that I can only hope that come true:
/fingers crossed
All he really needs to do is take a half-step. He's been great in the 2nd half of each year (not counting the playoffs) after getting off to extremely slow starts. I think the Select team experience is really going to show in terms of Favors' and Hayward's games and mental toughness. If Hayward takes the next step we are going to be a lot of fun to watch this year.
