As for my fantasy team. My bro talked me into starting Charles. Thank god I listened. Charles was on my bench at ten minutes to kick off, and at the last minute I put him in, crisis averted. How ever it was a dark day as my 49ers lost to the Vikings of all teams.
 
I think the broadcasters are blowing out of proportion the quality of the replacement refs. Even the old refs missed tons of calls and would get calls wrong. The replacements aren't as bad as they are made out to be.

Are they sinking along with the Saints? They just don't look mentally tough at all.

Vick has lost his edge. He looks over-whelmed.

I think it was expected for the Saints to struggle because of the turmoil. But look for them to make a late push and win around 8 or 9 games. Possibly making the playoffs.

Cardinals defense is very intriguing right now. Are they the next 49ers? The offense is still the biggest question mark however.

And Alex Smith shows why he's not considered a top-tier QB. Terrible, terrible game. The guy can't throw deep and can't perform under pressure. He doesn't even have the sense to run out of bounds when the clock is ticking. I don't care if he completes 75-80% of his passes. A four yard gain on 3rd and 8 is no better than an incompletion down the field.

I agree. I'm not buying Alex Smith. He is player better than he ever has, but he still has terrible instincts and tendencies.
