I know during the draft quite a few people wanted us to go after white but I said he is a nut case well look at Houston, they might regret that choice. (I am not getting down on Royce he has mental issues that need help) I am glad he is not in a jazz uni.

Sorry if this has already been posted or talked about, been out of the loop.
 
Looks like they will just have to liquor him up or something before every trip. Get a couple fine a** honnies and some booze and he will forget all about being on a plane.
 
That's a first. I think I've heard everything now. Most people miss the start of training camp because of a contract dispute or money, but not White. I wonder if Houston knew about this before the draft or what?

He was working out an agreement with the Rockets to travel by bus (to be purchased by White) when possible. Should that agreement have happened before training camp? Of course. As it stands he'll join the team on Monday.

Teams knew about White's anxiety and fear of flying. He would have been picked higher if not for those issues.
 
I know people have real issues ... but I've always found his situation a bit strange. He can play on a national stage, perform, talk tons of trash .. but has anxiety issues? Just seems contrived.

I love the A Team show. Rox should just do to Royce what the A Team always did to BA. All kidding aside, how the hell is he going to step into a hostle inviornment if he can't even walk into a room with hundreds of people rooting for him to get drafted. Just watching that video of him makes me think he won't make it in the NBA.

I hope he proves me wrong, but this seems too big for him.

Just makes you wonder how he will play in big games and clutch situations.
 
I don't worry about him as a basketball player because people like him when they are playing the forget what is going on around them the just perform butit is everything leading up to that. What if the have a back to back in Utah and Houston. He can't drive his bus and to sedate him to get him on the plane will make him groggy for game time.

This was one issue but he is also having anxiety issues but they say he is getting better. What happens if they flare up in the middle of a season?

Hmmm....

Maybe make the plane LOOK like a giant bus?
