Before NBA competition starts, go on the record and tell us who you would have chosen with the #8 draft pick for 2012. Choices on the poll are picks #8-17. For bonus long-term bragging rights, tell us whether the player will have a better career than Marvin Williams.

I choose Kendall Marshall (for fit for Jazz, not because I'm confident he'll have the best career), and I don't think he'll have a better career than Marvin. I'm not terribly high on any of the other choices, frankly, but a couple players will surely prove me wrong.
 
I would hope a trade for #6 (Lillard) could've been swung with our pick, #8, and an expiring contract
 
Out of the players listed I believe Lamb is going to be a very, very good shooting guard.
 
Drummond, then traded Drummond for Houston's picks (#12 and #16, and #18 if they'd do it which I think is where they'd draw the line), use #12 for Marshall, then Jefferson + #16 for Biyombo?
