On the current "toss ups":

Obama will win WI, MI, NV, NH, PA and IA.

Romney will win FL, MO, NC, CO and VA.

It all comes down to OH. Whoever wins that state wins the presidency. Obama is ahead by 2% roughly in OH right now. Romney is moving staff out of NC (thinking he has that state in the bag). WIll he move them all into OH in an attempt to swing the state?

I suppose I don't understand the fascination with any of these political races.
It's like rooting for either the Heat or the Lakers.

But if you already know what to expect from both candidates, what's the point?

Personally I like to be informed and do not take to the theory that if I do not like them I take my ball and go home. Sucky, tuff decision but it is one that has to be made.

Yeah I understand your position, and it's a good one.

Personally I'm hoping for a re-election of Obama..... at least everyone isn't setting themselves up for a let down on that one.

I think Obama may have been a very good president one day. However he was not ready when he became president. He was thrown into that fire to early and it ruined him.

I don't believe Obama had any intention of doing the things he said he would do in the campaign trail.
Don't you think there's a reason that almost 0 percent of what any of these guys say on the campaign trail actually comes to fruition after getting elected?

Of course I do. That does not necesarily exclude him from being a good president though. HBis hope and change was awesome but he was in way over his head. He still is but now he is ruined and all that hope and change is gone.

I would say the last "good" president this country ever had was Kennedy, and the last "decent" one was Reagan.
I'm not bagging on Obama as a person, actor, or professional teleprompter reader....
But a good president isn't something that would categorize the man.

To me, Hope and Change didn't mean anything.
Just a cute little slogan to get everyone on the band wagon.

I agree. I am saying that if he was originally elected in say another two elections then he might have had time to be ready and he could have been a good one. He got in on a BS platform and he was woefully unprepared.

He wasn't thrown into the fire. He jumped in.

True but the result is the same.

Obama up by .1% nationally. Romney has tied VA, moved ahead by 1% in NH, increased his Florida lead and edged closer in Iowa.

Based on the most recent polls as the vote it would be Obama : 271 and Romney : 267.

Note that I am giving VA and IA to Romney as polls today show him ahead (I am using the most recent poll not an average).

I am going to win Kicky!

Things may not have happened the way he wanted, but Obama has come through on better than half his campaign promises in one fashion or another.

I am particularly fond of when he decided to do something for immigration.

the month he was inaugurated, the country lost 861,000 jobs. We're currently adding 100,000 jobs a month.

What type of turn-around would a "prepared" person have acheived?
