Why was Randy Foye......

Guarding Kobe down the stretch? I understand he was hot on the offensive end and Hayward was in foul trouble, but he got man handled. Utah was up by quite a bit and would've had to given it away for them to lose. I feel Marvin should've been guarding Kobe. It showed Randy wasn't cutting it.

Better question was why was ONLY Randy Foye guarding Kobe. They were going to him every time. How about a double team?

A-****ing-men! Honestly, I swear I'm not trying to be over reactionary, actually the contrary......but Corbin continues to do some of the more baffling things I've seen in awhile, as an NBA head coach.

I actually thought Marvin really did a fairly solid job on Kobe early on, and very worst case scenario, he's 6 ****ing 9 and Kobe was posting up! Good god, man! Good god.....

I agree! We should have lost with the poor coaching job. Luckily the players pulled him out of this mess. I don't know why they bother, he's a lost cause.

Had we not gotten relatively lucky with Al and Paul hitting long jumpers (am I remembering right?) I think there's a very good chance we would have lost it had we continued to "guard" Kobe like we were.

Because if you can put the ball through the hoop, your defensive inefficiencies become irrelevant.

Oh Ty. So cute watching him try to grow as a couch.

Must....find.....something......to......bitch.....about....Jazzfanz slogan..

Was waiting for someone to say something like this. I could really start bitching about numerous things but this was just so obvious I couldn't believe it was happening.

Wait, I thought we had to have Burks on the floor regardless of his defensive lapses? Although he played pretty decent on ball D tonight he still gets lost off the ball a lot.

The bigger question is:

Why was Randy Foye trying to jump and bump celebrate with Corbin? Did you guys see Corbin's reaction? HAHA

Foye is okay with me because he can shoot. But his defense is basically non-existant. I think Ty was hoping that the had another 3 ball or 2 in him. But yeah, why not double team? Oh, yeah, I remember, he learned it all from Ole Jer and to Ole Jer double teaming a guy was not manly.

I would love to hear someone ask Randy that:

"Randy I know you hit three big 3 pointers down the stretch that really put the game out of reach for the Lakers, but how come you couldn't singlehandedly slow down a future Hall of Famer?"
