He will be special, mark my words. He was the MVP of European U16 Championship at the age of 15. There are some debates for the age-falsifying though. Anyway, it doesn't matter he is 15 or 16, he will be good slasher wing. Okben is 6'7" now, I believe he would be 6'10" in 3 years. I hope he would go to a college in the USA and will drafted after spending some time at NCAA.

I blame his parents! I may translate it as: "I am the arrow!" Although it would sound in English as "the arrow I am" as it sounds in Turkish, inversion. Stupid made up name anyway. Yes it is made up.

OP, what's your point that he was 15 when he won the MVP? It's an under 16 league so doesn't everyone have to be 15 and under? Hence, under 16.

Also, he's white playing against white guys.

U14 consist of 14-13 years old players, U16 16-15 years old players, U18 18 and 17 years old players. Okben was the only 15 year old player in U16 Turkish NT. and there were very few 15 years old players in the European Championship.

I'm high on Okben too, though I hope he won't be more than 6'8". I don't want him to get slow and stuck at forward positions as tweener.

Btw, I'd like to hear what you think about Metecan Birsen. Seems locked as a first rounder in 2014 class, if he continues to improve, he can be a top ten pick I believe. I think he's one of the best 2 players of the 94-95 generations with Saric.
 
Okben is def. an NCAA star in the making.
That said, whether his game will translate to NBA, we will have to wait for that!
