You know it must be bad working for Obama when you use an extra-marital affair to resign from the CIA.

"Yesterday afternoon, I went to the White House and asked the President to be allowed, for personal reasons, to resign from my position," Petraeus said in a letter to CIA colleagues. "After being married for over 37 years, I showed extremely poor judgment by engaging in an extramarital affair. Such behavior is unacceptable, both as a husband and as the leader of an organization such as ours."

Yeah, because that's the worst thing the director of the CIA could ever do to tarnish the agency's reputation...

I thought you folks were the morality police of this country?

So it's repulsive for a woman to use birth control or for a gay couple to get married but it's completely excusable for a high profile leader to cheat on his wife? What happens if it happened to be a secretary? What if he's giving her bonuses and promotions in exchange for sex?

Why do you folks not care about our tax dollars? Our children and grandchildren are going to pay for his sex!

I'm so confused with your every changing rules.

If we're playing the what if game, what if you were that secretary that was getting the bonuses?

Get another job.

And use my "charm" to receive bonuses from my private sector boss.

Duh.

Next question please.

Are you going to tell your family.

What if there isn't another job out there for you, as your job sector is super saturated now.

How many handouts and free phones will you apply to receive?

How can the head of the CIA not keep a secret?

Do you really think every high profile government employee should be fired if they had an affair? Should we replace all 90% of them now, or do it in waves?

How do we know those we get to replace them won't just be the other sides of the affairs?

Why is it ok to use your charms in the private sector and not in government?

Do you want more?

You're right. I'm just going to live off the government now. I'll join the 47 % and live off you, Romney, and Scat. Food stamps here i come!

Edit: Please don't underestimate the powers of persuasion. Petraeus was resistant at first. But eventually he gave in.

I know how you liberal lazy bums can be. Do as little productive work as possible, then annoy the people doing the actual work enough that they give you a buck or two to leave them alone.

I get it. It's the whole platform. Sadly, it works.

But I am going to make a stand. I will not give you everything you want because you are too lazy to do something about it for yourself. Get off your lazy butt and quit trying to "trick" your way into bigger bonuses and offices.

You, Thriller are the problem.

I'm sad for you. I'm also sad that you just don't care and are smiling about all you are getting away with. You make me sick.

GOOD DAY!!!!1!!!111!!!!1

Hmmm... this is getting interesting.

1. Resigning over an extra-marital affair is unusual. If Patraeus resigned because his actions were unbecoming of the CIA director, Clinton should have certainly resigned.
2. Patraeus was scheduled to testify before congress next week regarding the Benghazi incident. He is now absolved of this.

Doesn't the timing of this seem awfully convenient for the current administration?

Actually, many senior officials in the Obama administration that are tied to controversies are leaving:

Patraeus & Hillary - Benghazi
Holder - Fast & Furious
Geitner - person most linked to the administration’s economic failures

Pass the buck and clean house.
