Last Game

Last night in Phoenix, the Suns were down 42-16 to the Cavs with 10:26 left in the second quarter. The Suns refused to fold, taking their first lead with about 8 minutes to go and holding on to win 107-105.

For the Jazz last night in Denver, it was another road game, another loss. While the Jazz led 27-26 after 1 quarter, the Nuggets scorched the Jazz 27-11 in the second quarter and never looked back, beating the Jazz 104-84.

Injury Report

Jazz

Mo Williams has a strained right abductor, the same injury that caused him to miss some of the preseason games. I haven't heard if he's in or out tonight.

Earl Watson has continued to rehab his knee. David Locke tweeted the following today: Earl Watson thinks he is close to ready Jazz may need him tonight if Mo Williams adductor limits his play and with Goran Dragic driving

Suns

Channing Frye is out for the season with an enlarged heart.

Jermaine O'Neal missed last night's game over a personal matter. He rejoined the team but didn't travel to Salt Lake City for tonight's game.

Kendall Marshall is day-to-day with a sprained ankle.

Notes

The Jazz look to stay undefeated at home. Next week, they will go on a 4-game Eastern Conference road trip, so they'd better figure out how to do better and win on the road. The Suns have won 7 of the last 8 meetings in the series. The Suns are playing at the fastest pace in the league and are 27th in the league in defense. The previous two statements are stuff that Locke posted on Twitter.

I had a dream, Favors, Kanter, Millsap, Hayward and Mo Williams were starting.

I had a dream, Jefferson was not getting many minutes.

I had a dream, Burks was outplaying anyone and getting 25 minutes.

I had a dream that this was all a dream. :)

I thought that this tweet was incredibly appropriate:

Just one question, isn't it always veteran night?

Nice, so active duty can get discounted tickets but VETERANS can't. Thanks Jazz! Super awesome!
