I think you have prospects here and there is no reason for them to wither up and die on the bench. Head down to Reno and get some PT in for the young lads.

D-league would be good for Murphy, but would teach Burks bad habits in my opinion.
Practicing with NBA players > Playing with D-League players.

if you cut foye down to 15 mins, and carroll down to 10, thats 15 mins right there for burky.
Or stop giving marvin williams 28 mins a night (down to 20), drop foye to 18 mins, swing haydog over to the 3 to fill the holes, and burks has 16 mins right there.

I think Marvin and Foye's minutes both need to be cut back, as neither of them play well at all on the road.
At least Burks could get in there and draw some fouls, maybe even get a few kick outs to Foye or Mo for 3 pointers.
10 minutes a game is just right for Burks until he proves otherwise.
No, I think the only thing it is good for is to get someone away from the team for the sake of getting them away from the team. I guess in some cases it could be used as a confidence booster to a mentally frail player, but I don't think Burks has that kind of mental ineptitude.

Yeah Burks getting un-contested lay-ups against Big Al during practice is great practice.

the d league has helped a ton of players, marcin gortat, jeremey lin, lou williams, jj barea, just to name a few.
alec burks leading and carrying a team full of borderline nba players is better for him than fetching balls for mo williams.
