mind BLASTING idea

think about this idea before you throw it in your proverbial garbage bin.
lots of trade ideas can blow your mind, but this one will BLAST it.

how about the jazz trade DERRICK FAVORS. yes yes i know he is their best asset.
BUT they already have great big men that can WIN NOW.
if you can get a superstar type PG or SG with Favors, you can roll with the current front line and try to win a title NOW!
what do you think jazz can potentially get in a favors package?

personally i think jazz should keep favors and trade big al or sapman or even both but you gotta kick around the idea of trading sexual favors...it DOES have its pros and cons depending on what you can get on the receiving end and if it is satisfying.
 
Yep, the Jazz are a PG short of a title...

you thinking about a 3some bro? maybe get another team involved and get a superstar SG to Utah + Devin at point + current frontline = championship!

You don't get off that easy. Propose a specific trade.
 
First of all, we already have an all star point guard right now, yes, Momo is a former all star. Second, star big men are harder to find in this league than star guards are, which is strange seeing how few we've had lately minus Deron. You know the old phrase 'one in the hand is better than two in the bush'? Favors is improving at a delightful pace right now, and Hayward is being the versatile all purpose team jel guy I kind of figured he could be. What the Jazz need is to either get lucky in the draft or develop the talent they have.

Think about it, if we draft someone in the 'draft' (duh) who will they replace in the rotation? Foye? step down for a year or two. Marvin? yeah, still step down for a year or two. Mo? What rookie guard will be better than Mo right away? Hayward? Wow, that'd cause a fire storm. Al? Millsap? again in both cases it would be a step down for a few years until the rookie develops.

Not unless he becomes a black hole on offense, but I'm seeing very promising things from him lately. He's going to be able to score. But if you consider all the scoring he stops on the other end he's already a more effective player than Al, imho. Plus, I enjoy good defense more than what Al does on offense from a viewer perspective. Favors is an exciting defensive player to watch, while Al is a boring offensive player to watch.

I do agree that the rockets give up too much. But I think some could argue that one of the main pieces of the Dwight trade was Afflalo. So I think the Magic think very highly of him. Somebody could include a draft pick.
Patterson could easily stay and they could give the clippers something else that is more fair.
I am not sold on it either. Just the idea of Burks and Millsap for Bledsoe. Just need to find the right pieces. Only way the Clippers do the trade is if they get someone like Afflalo. Somebody who can play man to man defense and hit the open 3 point shot.

This is the most BLASTINGLY BAD trade idea I've seen since I joined JazzFanz.

We would release him. He is horrible now. Just to make the deal work. But yes it might be a good idea to keep him if that is the result. lol
