A Damian Lillard/Wes Mathews backcourt........so close!!!!!


Me want Mathews back and Lillard should have been ours.

i think jazz should trade one or 2 of their bigs for a guard and also FREE ALEC BURKS and fire TyCo.
 
why is this forum so in love with that jimmer guy? i dont get it. i guess cuz he's mormon? interesting racialism dynamic here.
 
-Getting rid of Tinsley and/or Watson, and getting a good back up PG.

-Giving more time for our young talent on the floor.

-Never starting Big Al and Sap together again.

Oddly enough we are actually ranked 4th in FG% allowed and are 6th allowed in points per possession. Our defense, at least from a basic statistical perspective, is fairly good.

As I agree he's at the end of his career, and not part of the future. Every good team needs good vet leadership, and he's been nothing but a team guy and leader on this team, and now he's starting to produce, and play well. He did have the biggest clutch defensive play of the game. I wish we would've had Tinsley when Deron was here. The offense doesn't go down the drain when he comes in. I like Tinsley, just wish he wouldn't shoot when wide open.
 
Our biggest problem is we dont have an alpha male super star big time big game performer closer.
 
We need a PG that can create scoring opportunities for everyone else due to his dribble penetration.

Right now we don't put much pressure on defenses, we take a lot of hard shots as a result.

Maybe because I live in Provo at the moment, but I'm really tired of "Jimmer Mania" that goes on around here. The Fanzz stores have like an entire section devoted to his Kings stuff. It's really gross. I'm tired of Utah's fascination with him in general. It is mostly because he is a Mormon and he played at BYU. The only other time I saw anything like this was for Steve Young. Except, you know, Steve Young won Super Bowls and is a HoF quarterback. I don't think Jimmer is going to be that.

But being white and "looking like 95 percent of Provo" gets you points around here.

Just curious. Where are you getting 6th? ESPN Hollinger stats have us at 10th with a DEFF of 100.0.
