Billups gets a waring thats all!!! this play should of been reviewed when it happend. it cost a team a win. and all he gets is a warning. Mo should of close lined him.... give him a reason to flop, maybe hard enough to keep him flopping on the ground for a few secounds too. if we are going to get called for it anyways, make it count.

it would nt be so bad if it would of happend in the first half. but it happend in the final minutes of a game. a competivite game, and it was looked at twice... i think tht is why it is wrong. if billups isnt going to takt the hit then the refs should for being ignorant and bad at their job

As much as we want him to, I don't think Stern can just decide that this player should pay this amount for his egregious flop, while this guy pays another amount. There's a set structure to the fining, and the first one is always a warning. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it's not like Flagrant fouls etc. My understanding is that it is warning and then $5,000 increments to $30,000 when they could possibly be suspended as well.

yes you are right. My biff is that this play should have been looked at twice... can we just redo the last 2 mins without the flop call? i know we can punish him more then what has been placed as the rule. but the new review rule would have been nice if applied. it would have mad the loss easier to tak knowing a blind ref didnt cause the loss. thats all i am saying. and to be honest a 5000$ fine is a drop in a bucket for an nba player, so that wouldnt have made me feel better either. i just wnated to be like everyone else and whine about something.

Did you guys not read the fine print of the flopping rule?

"For each flop warning accrued, the flopping player shall be punched in the junk, unprotected, by Shaquille O'Neal during the All-star game on live TV."
