8/24 10:00am - Memo, Fesenko, Another Big.

A bunch of short tidbits today. We could call this a mailbag because these are most of the questions I am receiving.

MEMO

Memo continues to work hard in his rehab. All reports have him being very diligent. He has been shooting and doing a little running. He will be heading down to the training center in Santa Barbara to do some more intense training.

It is still unclear when he will be ready. The opening of the season seems to be a lot to ask and maybe the more important question is when will he be right on the floor again rather than when will he get on the floor again.

He needs to take his time, and not rush back.

The last thing we need is a unhealthy slower version of Memo.

Ya we need his size alone. Hopefully he has enough lateral movement to play defense against Centers. He is a decent man to man defender.

I think he will be ok but not until mid-season.

Good to know he is actually here in the US and doing his rehab. If he was overseas, I'd be more concerned. Distractions:cool:!

This isn't a distraction?

...hate to break this news to you....but....we are definitely going to get back a "slower" version of Memo, no matter when/how/why/who/what/where he comes back!!!

Memo can't get much slower. Other than Yao he has the slowest lateral movement of almost any center in the league. His defense has always been worse than Boozers. What we need from Memo is stretching the defense. With a legit low post guy, his shooting is more valuable than ever.

I agree. I half expect to never see "Memo" again. Yeah, we might get Memo-light back, but he was already in decline IMHO. I figure it's much harder to get back to 100% when you're already having a hard time staying at 100% without injury.

I don't think she's very attractive at all in that photo anyway. Way too skinny. Maybe the 2 kids have done her body some good. :D

Yes, we'd all tell her to pack on some cellulite before any sort of copulation can commence.

Come on now. Are you forgetting about the Collins's? Memo has them beat! Really cant agree he plays worse defense than Boozer. That is pretty bad!

At least Memo can guard SOME opposing players. Name ONE that Boozer could guard; I can't:cool:

Well, he's decent against guys who...

Uh, he's good when players...

He can slap the ball away. He gets steals.

He's also good when the opposing players take long jump shots and miss.

I tried. That's all I got.

You guys suck. Boozer was a great perimeter defender. Remember his one block last year? The one that he got against Ray Allen? That was awesome.

I got nothing.
