X-rays came back negative but man, am I the only one who hopes he's out for the year, we tank, fire Corbin, hire a Van Gundy, and get a great draft pick?

don't ever underestimate the power of Al Jefferson to stay average.. i mean it, this guy will never be the last and never the first

Are you saying play the young guys more? I'm not convinced that will hurt this team this season. I do agree with the idea that you are spreading though.

Come on Orlando, overachieve and beat the Jazz!

IF Mo is seriously injured, this might be the kick in the *** the KOC needs to get rid of one of the bigs for a starting pg

PLEASE...Dennis Lindsey, offer the Clippers any pick/player not named Favors or Kanter for Eric Bledsoe. GET IT DONE!

Just in time to overpay for a PG that isn't really a PG and everyone can get really sick of not having a real PG for the third consecutive time.

Sorry, I'm a skeptic.

Then let Bledsoe stay in Tony-Parker mode (i.e. north to south, always attacking) and get Hayward and Burks some serious PnR reps in the half-court sets. San Antonio model. ****, get Calderon anyway so that you can run him next to Bledsoe if matchups favor such a lineup. Otherwise Jose backs up. Mo becomes a 2 like he should be.

Mo may not be great, but we are ****ed without him. That's the only position we have no ability to absorb an injury.

Tony Parker is an interesting comparison to make. For me, because Parker has slowly gotten better and more well-rounded with time.

Ditto. The love for Bledsoe on this board is absurd. If we're going after someone, please let it be Teague in the off-season.

Why shouldn't we want both? I mean, we have zero PGs right now. Bledsoe and Mo can slide over.

Yeah. Jazz need SOMETHING they could conceivably move forward with, but people are almost making Bledsoe out to be the next CP3 around here or something. Maybe he gets better.

I'm just going to hope something happens in the draft because I don't know a PG out there that's both available enough and fits the Jazz's needs enough.

Bottom line, I like players that provide their most basic positional role first. I like point guards to be floor-generals that know the entire playbook in their sleep and know how to make things happen for their team. Sometimes, those players can also score well, or rebound well, or defend well. But without that first part, my attention depletes really, really fast.

For the record, some PGs are smarter in how they operate a team than assuming they should always have the ball and must rack up assists. Chauncey Billups is a shining example of this, as is Tony Parker to a degree. I don't see that in Bledsoe, I see a kid with awe-inspiring power, speed, length, and an emerging ability to score but basically a kid that runs out there and crashes around and things happen sometimes. I'm not looking for that.

Bledsoe's so impressive he's 57th in assists per 48 and 157th in A:TO ratio (1.57) and this is who we want running our team?
