PG idea

Since our offense is nothing more than pass the ball into Al and everyone stand around at the three point line, since Watson and Tinsley are terrible defenders, why are we starting either Tinsley or Watson with Mo out?

Why don't we start Foye, Hayward and Marvin? That would give us three legit three point shooters out there. Dare teams to double Al.

That's the problem with Corbin. He is too dumb to gameplan an offense and is too dumb to see what's happening and get better matchups on the floor.

1) Foye sucks and is not a PG, period
2) Teams would laugh at the notion that Al is going to pass to open 3pt shooters
3) Let's just upgrade our PG play, let Al expire, and hire Stan.

I thought it was the other PG thread and took a couple seconds to figure out there wasn't other pages. I guess I'm just dumb.

Wes get you on the StanWagon??

Any legit 7 foot center can play Al straight up. Vucevic did it with ease. Al will get his 16 or so points but will be on 40% shooting with 0 free throws. Losing Al is the only answer.

Foye could run the backup PG if he didn't try, and do too much.
Like Tyrone said he's not a floor general. This is true, but he is a good passer.

It's more a case of getting the most talent on the court.

Tinsely has good games, but is incredibly inconsistent. Because Ty has an obsession with Foye this is one way to make all parties happier.
Burks gets more burn, and we keep a good 3 pt shooter on the floor. Watson isn't really an option at this point.

Forget having a distributing point guard. Use a point forward like Hayward or Burks (Burks being more of a Kobeish point 'guard') Then you have a player at the one who brings the ball up the court and does nothing but shoot later in the offensive sets. This hinges on Hayward and Burks being true offence initiators which they both have either claimed to be able to do or have proven that they 'might' be able to.
