Interesting Locke tweets & recap re:last night

I weeded out all the "team employee" comments and found a few gems:
Enes Kanter is shooting 8% better than any other regular on the roster - 55% Jefferson and Millsap next at 47%

Hayward held CP3 to 1 for 6 shooting in the 4th quarter.

The Starters tonight were -10. All other line-ups were +8

The bench unit of Watson, Burks, Hayward, Favors and Kanter brough the Jazz back in the 2nd quarter against the best bench in the NBA, they swung the game 19 points. The defense was terrific. After they whopped the bench they continued it against the front line guys. Favors 3rd foul ended the run for this group and Burks got a 3rd foul shortly thereafter.

In last two games without Mo WIlliams Jazz point guards have 3 points on 1 for 8 shooting 12 assists and 13 turnovers

Blake Griffin had 1 tough fadeaway jumper and 1 alley opp on back cut while guarded by Favors and 0 FT's - Griffin had 22 on the night

Enes Kanter had 4 assists tonight - he had 8 last year. His defense was terrific as well. Maybe his best game as a pro.

He even admitted that Burks would have been better to create the last second shot over Foye, the qualified it saying it would have been bold...

Also one from Bill Oram:
Jazz execs Kevin O'Connor, Randy Rigby and Greg Miller are all on floor yelling at, pointing at officials. Fans throwing debris.

Love the passion, the team and organization need it. But where was Lindsey?

If Al fouled Paul then Barnes fouled Foye. Nit picky or let them play, but the refs gotta call it same both ways. But I expect that crap from NBA. I've been a jazz fan for 26 years and long ago realized that NBA has never been managed like a true competitive league, but is scripted more like the WWF -- or staged like a 'reality ' tv show.

I don't buy the theory of corrupt refs. They are human and have emotions and make mistakes. Sometimes they suck, but I have seen many other times their mistakes have worked in our favor.

A move must be made. We need favors on the floor for 35 mini unites a game and kanter 20+. I like foye as a bench player. No reason to hate on him because we have an idiot coach who benches our future. Hayward and favors are in their third year. Both need 30 minutes plus to improve and build confidence.

The same lineup that tied the game up? How nitpicky are we going to get?

c'mon dude. It's long past time to drop the apologist alter you've crafted. The writing is on the ****ing wall. Corbin is below average. The youth on the bench are AS if not MORE effective than the starters.

/thread.

Yep. Nuff said.

Unfortunately the one he hit was the biggest clutch shot of the game for LAC.

We here at Jazzfanz love isolated statistics without any other explanation. Looking deeper to explain statistics is against the forum rules. Look it up.

Oh yeah, you've been reported for breaking the rules.

I hope everyone could see the sarcasm is that last post.

If you can re-watch the 4th quarter and say with a straight face that the refs were calling it the same both ways, then you're delusional. The LAC winning streak is one of the biggest stories in sports right now. All refs are company men who do not need to be told what to do. If they can help it, they're not going to let the streak end in Utah of all places.

Ultimately the fault lies with The Jazz because, as I said in another thread, they needlessly put themselves in a position to let the refs decide the game. But it was horse **** officiating nonetheless.

If Al fouled Paul then Barnes fouled Foye.

There were some other plays you could single out, but this is inaccurate. Foye had nothing, and did nothing there. Solid no-call as Barnes didn't leave his feet or really even move and Foye tarded his shoulder into him.

On the other hand, Al's call was ticky-tack, but why he thought reaching was a good idea instead of MOVING HIS ****ING FEET WHICH HAS BEEN HIS PROBLEM FOR HIS ENTIRE CAREER BUT WE'VE SEEN HIM ****ING DO IT is mystifying.

The refs called the game hugely in Utah's favor during the 2nd quarter too. Overall I think the calls balanced out, just ****ty how it was done.

That lineup came in when we were up by 4.... so we should congratulate them for being tied at the end of the game? great job vets you were only minus 4 at the end of the game.

You mean the same lineup that got the team in the hole, then lost the (huge) lead that they had?

Your persona is showing.

You poor little things. Someone has a different view than the ****ty negativity hole you call life & you're too small to scare me off with a neg rep parade like you do with all the other small rep posters. You chicken ****s are left with name calling to defend your own mental midgetry hysteria.
.
People don't all think like you. Boo ****ing hoo trolls.

Wow.

I guess it is time for another measured KSL piece.

I'll take this post as an index of last night's sting of reality.

Cmon back, friend.
