Foye starting

Can that experiment please end. This is not A Foye hate thread.

He's a three point specialist, and his lack of size hurts him guarding other sg's. He's taylor made to come off the bench for 10-15 minutes and snipping three balls, and if he's hot leave him in if not then limit his minutes. With his limitations on defense he needs to be playing with Favors and Kanter. Not the defenseless wonders in Al and Sap.

I can understand Ty wanting to keep Hayward on the bench. If so fine, then put Burks in as a starter getting bench minutes. Sloan used to do this all the time. I honestly feel TyCo is wasting Foys talents in the starting lineup.

From watching him come off the bench and starting, he seems like more of an asset off the bench.

Thoughts..

Screw foye

Free burks!

I wouldn't mind him at PG though. The T Wolves gave Watson a 10 ft clearing to shoot 3s but he couldn't.

Im with ya

Foye is perfect trade fodder for teams with championship hopes this season. He needs to get KOd Lindsey style.

I'm not a Gordon lover, but I think it's pretty obvious that you need to run the offense through him. He's the only one that can run an efficient pick'n roll and can still pull up for a jumper. With Mo out, Gordon has to have the ball in his hands more and Foye clearly is limited with his lack of quickness. TY, START GORDON and have Foye come off the bench.

I think Gordon off of the bench is helping our second unit a lot. When Gordon starts the ball never comes to him. I personally like Foye. When he is hot he is way good to have on the team, but when his shot is not falling he needs to find the bench. I don't care if he starts or not, its all about how many minutes he gets. 15-20 max I'd say. Give Gordon and Burks more minutes, let Foye shoot and if he's hot keep him in, if he's cold(which seems to be more often than not) then bench him

He can pass the ball around, as long as he doesn't try to do too much it works.

Also, Trade Watson so his feelings aren't hurt.

Foye was a FA for about a month before Utah signed him - they might be able to move him as filler in a larger deal, but I doubt he's on any team's wish list right now.

Also, whatever moderate success that Foye has had in his career has been as a starter. His numbers are awful coming off the bench. Not an excuse for giving Burks so few minutes; but I'm sure that's part of Corbin's reasoning for starting him.
