Looking for under the radar/small/lowbudget movie recommendations

I prefer smaller movies to blockbusters for the most part. So if you have any recomendations I would appreciate it. A few I've seen in the last little while that I really liked were

Take Shelter - Probably my favorite movie of the last few years
Safety Not Guaranteed
Martyrs
A Separation
City Island
Before the Devil Knows You're Dead
We Need To Talk About Kevin

Anything you think I should see would be appreciated

I higly recommend:
Snatch
Lock Stock N 2 Smoking Barrels (love this movie)

They are stuffed full of actors (Benicio Del torro, Brad Pitt, Jason Statham, Don Chealde...). You need to pay attention or you will get lost as hell. Excellent movies.

These probably don't qualify as "low budget", but I would consider them under the radar films that I really liked:

Equilibrium - One of the better "dystopian" films I've seen - Christian Bale
Old Boy - Tarantinoesque film from Korea. One of the best foreign movies I've seen
The Diving Bell and the Butterfly (French)
Rescue Dawn - POW flick - another Christian Bale
Midnight in Paris - Owen Wilson/Woody Allen - will make you want to live in Paris
Green Street Hooligans
Boondock Saints - This one kind of has a large cult following so I'm sure a lot here have seen it
Ip Man - Chinese - Bruce Lee's mentor

This probably isn't what you're looking for, but you can't go wrong with any of these.

The movie I'm always surprised no one has seen...True Romance.

Hint, it's not a romantic comedy. It was written by Quentin Tarantino but not directed by him.

Honestly, the amount of money you save by going for a lowbudget movie just isn't worth it.

To me getting a new release for $2.99 is better than picking up a crappy .99 movie, but I really value my time.

Get The Dark Knight Returns (starring Christian Bale) you'll love it, and at $2.99 worth every penny.

I haven't seen it but I've read Once Upon a Time in Anatolia is great. Foreign film. Check out the trailer.

I really liked The Double Hour, another foreign film.

One last is one of personal faves. Birth with Nicole Kidman. It's amazing. I think anyone who's ever felt they've had a soulmate and were truly, madly, deeply in love will find it the same. Roger Ebert actually said he almost voted for it for one of the best 10 movies ever in a recent poll that all these critics do. Not even kidding.

No, you gave the wrong title.

I'm talking about the new Christopher Nolan films bro, not those cheesy batman forever type movies.

Some sick *** special FX in those.

City of God
Reservoir Dogs
Momento
Twin Peaks series
Blue Velvet
Usual Suspects
Rear Window (original)
Donnie Darko
Hustle and Flow
The Straight Story
Moon
Machinist
The Wrestler

...not low budget, but "Gangs of New York" and "In the Name of the Father" were both on Netflix streaming and are excellent.

Either you're baiting me into call you stupid or you really are stupid. Bale has NEVER been in a film titled "The Dark Knight Returns".

Are we seriously arguing over the spelling of the guys name?

Holy ****. Baile, Bale, Bayle, Braille. I don't ****ing care. Get over it.

Bottom line, the guy makes bad *** movies and that's all I care about.
