Kinda cheesy but makes me appreciate all the small and silly things I do with my kids each day.

I love my daughter but I'm running on about 2 1/2 hours of sleep because of her. I would kill myself if we had triplets.

That's weak. My second kid would only sleep in his swing for about 45 minutes at time, with the vacuum going right next to it. That lasted 4+ months. If he was awake, he was screaming. The doctor said the reflux was so bad that he probably had an ulcer before we figured out the right med combination. We didn't think it could get any worse than that, so we had another. We were wrong. Baby #3 was worse than her brother. And then we were surprised to find out my wife was prego again when the baby was only 5 months old. That means that my youngest two are only about 14 months apart. Did I mention that #4 was/is worse than #3?

My youngest started sleeping thru the night (11-6:30 ish) when she was three days old. She very rarely cried and was a very happy and active baby. She is still extrememly active and outgoing. The only thing she had was that she could not tolerate milk till about 18 months. She had to be on soy instant formula and then goats milk. She got over that at about 18-20 months old.

Edit: now she is the opposite. She likes everything and is allergic to nothing. Onions, peppers, tomatoes, avocadoes, artichokes, meats, hot sauce, salsa, dairy, fruits all of it. There is not a single food I have ran across that she does not like. Feeding her is a breeze and lets me try different things.

That sounds beyond stressful. My daughter has slept through the night from her birth right up until the past 3 months. Now she sleeps till about 4 am and then gets up every half hour until I leave for work at 7. I should just appreciate the great 2.5 years that I had getting a full night sleep.

Kids can be adorable in those first few years of life, but I don't miss those days one bit.

Best day of my early parenting life was when my son started pooping in the toilet. Poopy diapers, yuck.

Using the bathroom on their own, feeding themselves, walking, not eating weird **** they find on the ground, .... all great things

Diapers... the worst. Especially when they're so young that they dump numerous times daily.

The other day we were somewhere with a friend who had a newborn. I remember thinking "I NEVER want to do that again. Like EVER."

You will have a child that will be younger than your grandson?!

Yes. My grandson is a little more than a year old. My son is due end of March.

My dad (passed away) has 3 young sons, one of which is 3 years old ... 18 years younger than my daughter. He has 4 grandkids older than one of his kids.
