OSU and UCLA are losses, I'd put money on USU .... Other than that you are almost accurate

There's zero chance it happens that way (starting 5-0, then losing 5 in a row) but looking at each game in a vacuum, that's what I'd predict.

Wilson is going to have to make some HUGE strides for Utah to compete this year. They lose a lot of guys.

Byu is due for a win against the utes

No they are not. **** BYU, they can lick my taint. In the hierarchy of Utah sports, it goes like this:
USU>Weber State>SUU>SLCC>Utah>ITT Technical Institute>Stevens Henager College>Westminster>Everest College>Kearns High School>BYU=BluesRocker

It's all going to boil down to the O-line and QB play. Utah has PAC 12 caliber WR's, and at least 1 PAC 12 Caliber RB in York. If they can finally get over the hump of having a terrible O-line play and a revolving door at QB, they could contend for a bowl.

If not, Utah could be staring at a 4 win season and Coach Whit could be looking for a job. On the bright side, at least BYU's first choice would be back on the market after Bronco doesn't return.

Tell us how you really feel.... stop holding back.

Noticed that you have kearns high school in there... did you go there too?

Zero chance whatsoever Whit's job is on the line this year. Maybe two more none bowl seasons in a row his coaching seat would start to get hot, but right now, not a chance, and I say that knowing the struggles we've had the last few years and all the games we've had where we laid an egg.

I'm already looking forward to the 2013 season! I have two realistic expectations. 1) Wilson makes some big jumps 2) We are bowl eligible at the end of the season

Rumors that Dennis Erickson will be hired as an offensive coach for the Utes. I'm all for this. Whether they do the Co-OC thing or demote Brian, it gives Brian a chance to learn the position while bringing in someone who knows the PAC12. I've always liked the coaches at Utah, but they never really had PAC12 knowledge.

I have to say I hated the ASU team under Erickson - their offense was explosive, but they had zero discipline. I think it would work with Whitt in control of the team on the sidelines and Erickson calling the plays.

Go Utes!
