This is it, guys. 15 of the next 20 games are all at home. This is the best stretch of the season for our team to make a run, and maybe pass a team or two in the rankings.

How do you think we do?

L, W, W, W, L, W, W, W, L, W, W, W (if Rose isn't back), W, L, W, W, L, L, W, W

That's 6 losses by my count.
Miami, Indiana, Portland (away), OKC, Golden State (they ruined us last time), and Clippers.
We might have a good chance to win a few of the games above, but I think we'll make it up by losing to a s***ty team like Sacto.

If things to this way, we'll be 34-25 by the end of it.

I hope we just make the playoffs again and at least have a chance at Trey Burke.

Meh Who cares. Make a trade darn it, give the new guys more playing time, get rid of our idiot coach and then I may give a big rats @ss.

By the way have you seen all the zero comments under the Jazz newspaper articles? People are just to tired and pissed to bother anymore.

Dont overthink it...without even looking at the schedule we'll be 10-10 over the next 20 games. Book it.

Does it really matter? So what if we get the 8th seed. Do you really think the Jazz have any chance of beating OKC or the Spurs in a seven game series?

The Clips could still very well end up with the 2nd seed who we know we'd give trouble to. The 6th seed is still totally up for grabs and I actually feel we'll end up at 7th. Portland and Houston will come down, Minny is too injured to catch us, and LOL @ Lakers/Mavs.

To answer the thread I see it going down like this:

Mon 14 vs Miami - L
Sat 19 vs Cleveland - W
Wed 23 vs Washington - W
Fri 25 @ L.A. Lakers - L
Sat 26 vs Indiana - W
Mon 28 vs Houston - W
Wed 30 vs New Orleans -W
Fri 1 vs Portland - W

Mon 4 vs Sacramento - W

So I have 14-6, but I expect one surprise bad home loss so I'm actually thinking 13-7. I just don't know where we'll screw up. Now would be a great time to make a move though to get our new guy accommodated into our system with all these home games.

I still hypothesize that the playoff seed positions between 6 and 8 are well within reach for our Jazz men. I shall ingest beverages tantamount to the citizens of Jonestown, when I prophecies that the Jazz will go 15-5.

You should also note that every road game is a short flight / easy travel. And, they are win-able.

More generally, wouldn't this be the perfect stretch of games to give the reins to the youth?

I think this is the perfect time for corbin to hand the keys to the youth, but knowing corbin, it aint gonna happen

12-8. The longest win streak will be five. Jefferson, Millsap, Marv, and Watson will be on the roster past the trade deadline.

You should also note that every road game is a short flight / easy travel. And, they are win-able.

And that's huge because Utah has quietly won 5 in a row on the road against teams with a losing record. Those are the ones that drive me nuts - losses at NOH, Phoenix and Sacramento.

I have no faith in this team to put together a fairly impressive stretch of wins. Even with the schedule easing up, it just feels they'll follow up a win with a loss ... even though there is ample opportunity to reel off a few wins to improve our standing in the west.

Do you know the longest win streak of the Corbin era has been just six games and that was all the way back in March of 2012?

What I expect from the next 20 games:

A surprising win that maybe gives us some confidence and hope (potentially tomorrow against Miami) and an equally discouraging loss to a bad team that grounds us even more.

So, I say...

Miami: W
Cleveland: W
Washington: W
@ L.A. Lakers: L
Indiana: L
Houston: L
New Orleans: W
Portland: W
@ Portland: L
Sacramento: W
Milwaukee: W
Chicago: L
@ Sacramento: W
OKC: L
@ Minnesota: L
Golden State: L
@ L.A. Clippers: L
Boston: W
Atlanta: W
Charlotte: W

That's 11-9 ... and that would put Utah's record at 31-28. So, still in the playoff hunt, but our prospects are still pretty meh and we're most likely stuck in the 8th or 9th spot. Exciting!
