Hey y'all.

I take great pleasure in joining what seems to be one of the more enlivened, resolute sports communities on the world wide web.

Glad to be a part of something so profound--

You're not going to find that here.

This is just a forum for complaining when we lose and bitching when we win.

Enjoy your stay.

Welcome to the site George. How long have you been a Jazz fan?

Many thanks for the fairly warm embraces. But I must concede, I am not a saint in any sense :) I have been a Jazzfan since the early 90s-- my best friend moved from Utah, introduced me to the team and its players-- and we used to watch the playoffs together.

Could someone explain to me what an 'alt' is?

We should welcome new members with open arms.

Profound? The most profound thing on this forum was that gif of the cat jumping off the building symbolizing the Jazz-Spurs playoff series.
95% of the threads on here are 'Get rid of Watson, Jefferson, Braille, Foye, or Corbin' threads.

This is true, but welcome anyway.

Also, an alt is when a person who usually gains all joy from life by getting attention on a sports forums, decides that they arent getting enough attention anymore, so they create another account on said forums. The new 'tag' or identity is called an 'alt' or alternate. This way, that person can now get double the joy and esteem building moments from their favorite forums by posting twice as many things, sometimes actually using the alt to argue against their 'main' so as to garner even more attention.

Holy ****.

THAT'S what it is?

Creating another one now...

An alt is someone who lives an alternative lifestyle. Like being a Jazz fan for instance.

George how do you feel about CJ Miles return to the Cavs starting line up last night?

1-9 5 pts, 0 dimes, 1 board, 0 steals, 0 blocks, 2 turn overs.
