Those two attorneys should be stripped of their ability to practice law. They should be charged with aiding a felon and impeding a police investigation and serve time.

Absolutely outrageous. As an attorney you should be required to divulge information that you learn of that either proves their guilt or innocence regardless of how it affects your case.

Disgusting.

Doesn't that fall under attorney-client privilege? I certainly don't like the fact that the attorneys knew where the body was buried, but they were probably within their rights to not divulge that information right away. I'd like to get sirkickyass's take on this.

Absolutely outrageous.

I disagree. The real outrage is when prosecutors deliberately withhold exonerating evidence and send innocent people to jail.

Here defense attorneys did not divulge privileged information until it was appropriate legally, as part of a plea deal. That's how defense attorneys are supposed to behave.

I absolutely disagree. They knew where he buried the body. That seems awefully extreme to me.
It is not like they assumed he did it. I stand by my claim that it is a-paul-ing.

As for the part about prosecutors. I agree. Why do you think I worded my initial post the way I did?

I believe in justice.

Even as a layman, I can see the importance of attorney-client privilege to the system. Next time you're arrested, you probably will as well.

I see where you are coming from but at some level it begins to make a mockery of the system.

These attorneys did what they felt was the best for their client. That's kind of their job.

Why is it that stoked is always looking for something to be pissed off about?

Whether it's Obama or these lawyers...

The right is constantly afraid of something.

1st of all i dont think labeling every conservative or a whole group as "the right" is cool but i know the people who ur referring to.
i dont they are afraid at all. its more about trying to convince other people to be afraid. its a classic political tactic.
