Houston likes Parsons, they overpaid to get Asik - they like him, and they have no reason to trade Terrence Jones-. They're not going to trade all this just for Al Jefferson and a journeyman back-up SF. Even Asik for Jefferson would be a push.

The Jazz would have to waive two or three guys to do that deal.

We can't trade out 2 contracts and take 5 back without waiving players, given that we already have 15 players on our roster. I guess we'd waive Bell, send Murphy to the D-league, and waive someone else.
