What's new

emotions associated to jazz games

so any of you getting mad or excited if jazz lose win.

i used to get pretty pissed when jazz lose. couldn't wait till the next game to get the Next win.
or would be excited if jazz win and would be psyched till the next game.

some of you know of my epic "meltdowns"

btw yeah this year other than a few games at beginning of season i havn't had any emotions when it comes to jazz games(w/L)

it is just meh. don't even care if jazz make the playoff or not.

so how is it with you guys. i'm longing. for the 2003-2004 utah jazz. those where epic games :).

i would trade that jazz for this years jazz in a heartbeat :)

just to get the emotional rollercoaster going again.
the highs and lows

I'm not emotionally tied to this roster anymore. It's too boring. The offense is too predictable and the rotations are screwy. I don't like pretty much any of the starters and just feel like this team has been in a holding pattern for 2 years now.
.
Mentally I want the team to lose. Though when I do occasionally watch I am always routing for them to win.
.
This season and last are just Blah.

If The Jazz compete and lose to a good team, I'm pretty much OK with it.

When The Jazz lost to The Hornets, Kings and Suns that ticked me a off a little bit.

Otherwise I'm in a pretty good mood after a win - the only exception I can think of was the first game against The Wizards in Washington; which was basically nothing more than a battle of who can suck more.

These people who get on here and bitch and moan after a win make me laugh. I wonder why they even watch the games to begin with.

I get excited when they win/are playign well and mildly mad when they are playing badly and mildly bummed when they lose.

Now I like you dutch and hope you stick around so don't take this the wrong way but if you no longer have an interest in this than why stick around? You should move on and do something that you enjoy with your time.

Depending on the minutes distribution and how the players produce is how my mood is dictated. Lets just say last night I was angry.

Wow. And I find it a hardship waiting/staying up for the West Coast games that start 10:30 pm EST.

If I had to get up at 3am, I doubt I'd watch them at all.

I've turned several games off this year, some when the Jazz were losing and some when the Jazz were winning. I've just skipped watching several more Jazz games even when I didn't have anything else to do. I used to make time to watch the Jazz. I used to hang on every play. Losing was painful, winning was euphoric. I just don't feel that way anymore.

The last several games I have watched I have on the DVR and I just FFW through the action unless Favors, Kanter or Hayward are in the game. Even then I FFW a lot.

I used to have to convince myself the Jazz wouldn't pull off a miracle in the playoffs. I just believed in them so much and wanted it so bad I believed it was possible. I don't feel that way anymore. I know they aren't going to do anything special in the playoffs. I don't really care if they make it out of the first round or go to the WCF, I just don't care what this team does. The Jazz were always "my team" but not now. Now they're just the Jazz.

I don't watch any other teams. I'm not leaving the Jazz for someone else. I'm not a fan of the NBA or basketball, I've always just been a Jazz fan.

It's like part of me has died.

When the Jazz are winning, I like them.
When they lose, I blame Al Jefferson/Foye/Corbin/Marvin/Watson/Watson/Watson/Watson/Watson/Watson

I think a part of my not caring as much is because of how discusted I am with how the NBA as a whole is ran. But a big part of it is there is no hope this season for this roster being anything more than a 1st round exit. And we are not developing the guys that give us a chance in the future.
