What's new

New member, I am fed up with Tyrone Corbin

Our starters got us down 20 at half, and he watched them go down 40 basically in the 3rd quarter without making a sub. This guy is a chump. I can't believe Larry Miller would tolerate such a poor coach. I think it was a nice experiment but enough is enough. I am excited because all the buzz says we're going to make a move for a point guard by trading Al Jefferson or Paul Millsap and I think the Jazz need a really good, young point guard. But it won't matter who we have as long as Corbin is still the coach. The way he has mismanaged the roster this season has been shocking.

At first I thought he was just experimenting by playing 10 guys 20 minutes apiece for the first 30 games, but now it's become apparent Corbin is just mentally weak. A bumbling moron, as it were.

Does anyone else get as aggravated when they see him on the sidelines game after game as our beloved franchise toils into repugnant depths as I do?

It's pretty much the board consensus that we want Corbin out. Anyone who coaches a team that played like we did tonight deserves to get fired.

It's too bad he'll probably be here next year no matter what. I still think we make this playoffs with this favorable schedule.
We get creamed by the Thunder, and the management says "If only Mo didn't get hurt". Ty comes back, and we repeat this year all over again.

Yeah, Corbin is mentally, emotionally, and physically wrecking our 3rd round picks. Favors in his 3rd year, and Kanter his 2nd and they are treated like 5th year scrubs getting 5-10 minutes... Hayward should be starting. Corbin is a Morale wrecker. When are owners going to realize that Big AL cant get it done defensively.

Why do you hate Jerry Sloan's decision making?

Welcome. Most of us are of the same opinion. Corbin has had plenty of time and his incompetence I fear will result in losing some, if not all our young talent.

Unless he suddenly dies (God forbid) or retires, we're stuck with Corbin for the long haul. Do you know how many times the Miller family has fired a head coach?

Just be grateful to have a .500 team that gets swept out of the first round in the playoffs every year.

I can't tell if you are pulling my chain or not. Spare us all the self-righteous disclaimers, please. It's not like you have the power to control other people's realities by hyperbolic assertions you make on an internet message board when trying to prove a larger point. Supposed those are truly the only two options, death or resignation/retirement unfortunately I'd choose sudden death because he's not at the age of retirement and no person would resign the money they're owed as an NBA coach. No fan of any sports team that has spent thousands of dollars in support should expect the mediocrity you say to be gracious for. Of course there are other options besides death and retirement, most practically employment termination. If the fans united and leaned on ownership for change, a swift change would be made to be sure if they felt the pressure on their wallet.

I'd also be willing to donate to a fund business leaders and season ticket holders start in hopes of raising enough for his buyout.

I think most of us gave Ty a fair chance. Every time he made a good move we complemented him.
We wanted him to work here. Some of you bashed him from day 1, but I know I gave him a fair shot.
That time has passed...

I think this statement is a little dramatic if not completely false.

Complain all you want. All you're going to do is keep on complaining like I do. Why? Because this organization has no ****ing balls and won't do **** to help itself because it knows fans will still show up. **** the FO! Dumb ****ing pieces of ****. I'm done watching Jazz games this year until a change is made. This is pathetic.

I feel your pain, brother. Hopefully fans stop showing up. I know I am done.

Hey, that's not fair. It's not as though the Jazz have completely stalled progress despite no longer having excuses (no training camp, inexperienced) for being mediocre or worse.

Oh wait.
