Steph Curry has been invited:

But he's not sure if he'll accept.

Stephen Curry said:
‘It would be a big commitment heading down there for one event so I’m figuring out if I’m going to make that commitment."

According to nightmare3983's translation services, what he's really saying is that he's still butt-hurt about not being an All-Star. It's funny though, because the next sentence in that little blurb says that Curry insists he's moved past his All-Star snub. Yeah, it sure sounds like it.

It looks like Novak is in:

@WindhorstESPN: Dwayne Wade is pressuring LeBron to do 3-point contest. Said former college teammate Steve Novak is in.

Does that mean that the NBA has invited LeBron and he's thinking about it?

That'd be a joke IMO!!

In other news that kind of relates to this, I just read about there being captains for All-Star Saturday with Wade being the East captain and CP3 being the west captain. Points will be accumulated in the different events and whichever conference wins will have $350K donated to the charity they choose, while the losing side's charity gets $150K. I'm assuming this means each conference will have equal representation in all of the events. That explains why Wade is trying to get LeBron in the 3 point contest.

The field for this will be announced tonight. The team captain for each conference gets to choose one person in addition to those the NBA invites. I'm not sure if the captains are privvy to who the NBA has invited and will have their picks ready to announce just yet though.
