#47 Potland Jailblazers at the Jazz

Like I just said, I didn't watch the game. Millsap had 2 rebounds in almost 30 minutes? I don't care ow good you are offensively, that is just unacceptable.

Also, Kanter's minutes get cut and who does that help? Jefferson, and Jefferson only. 37 minutes or Fat Fail. Jefferson is not even the best big on the team and if he is the second best it is by a small margin. This is getting harder and harder to follow.

I haven't been this blah about the Jazz since high school, when all I cared about was girls. Something needs to change in order or my interest level to increase and I don't see that happening this year. I'm honestly worried it won't change next year either.

7 FAs bro. Its going to change. Milsap and Al will both need moving trucks in July, Favors & Kanter are both under contract for next year.

I hope you are right but I am losing hope the more I watch this team. I appreciate your positive attitude though.

Hello all, just wanted to say I share many of the same frustrations with coaching/rotations/minutes. Also wanted to share a humorous twitter moment from David Locke last night.

We all saw how Millsap completely dominated Luke Babbit in the 2nd-quarter. Well at halftime Locke translates that into this tweet: Super coaching by Corbin – Stotts went to Babbit as a stretch 4 – Corbin brought Millsap back and Millsap killed Babbitt.”

Now in the real world that the rest of us live in, Millsap re-entered the game at the 7:25-mark of the 2nd-quarter and Terry Stotts didn’t substitute Luke Babbitt in for J.J. Hickson until the 5:55-mark of the 2nd-quarter.

It's full-speed ahead for the positive spin-cycle, even if that includes outright lying. The scary thing is some people actually believe the narrative the organization is trying to set. This sort of nonsense, coupled with recent radio interviews and supposedly well-written articles (Tree Rollins?) published on the team website - and I have never seen the Jazz organization in such an all-out frenzy to make a PR statement (in this case defending their current coaching and insist that they are on the right track) since 2 years ago when Sloan stepped down and they insisted Deron had nothing to do with it.
Buckle up for the trade-deadline, because I have a strong feeling the frustration is only going to increase. Hope I'm wrong.

I saw that on twitter. Locke is getting worse and worse each passing day.

Corbin is seriously out of control.

I think that Corbin is a coward. He knows that playing the vets is pretty safe, he cannot really be criticized for that. If he plays the youngs and they lose, then he will get serious criticism. Kanter getting 5 minutes? Cowardly.

Great question. To that point, it is my anniversary this weekend. My wife was going to get us tickets to last nights game but I told her to not bother. We went to the Mall and checked out the stuff at the Fanzz store (I usually get new Jazz gear at the beginning of the season and for my anniversary) and after seeing all the merchandise, we didn't buy anything despite my wife almost pricing it on me. I didn't even watch the game last night, instead I went to see the movie "Warm Bodies".

dont worry the loss they had for you not going will be made up in the 2 home games in the playoff

hahahaha.

this jazz organization fails to see the big picture, or so it seems.

i bet you the made more money the 41-41 season the year after stock and malone left than they will make this year including a playoff sweep(adjusted for inflation offcourse)

Yes, this is all box score analysis. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

blazers where crhasing the baords like crazy. id did see millsap boxing out and covering for al defensive mistakes.
so he could not really get a rebound.
al plays no defense millsap tries to cover his man. but mostly fails because lets face it millsap cant guard 2 people at once. while jefferson ball watches and wait for rebounds to fall in his lap.

yes i said fall in his lap. because he was not boxing out.

and jefferson is not close to ebing the best big man on the jazz.
give millsap, favors kanter 22 shots in a game and i garantee you they will score more than 21 points

This is why with each passing game i think more and more people seriously whish injury on big al.
i know it is morally wrong, and a lot of you wont admit it. and lets face it off the court the person al jefferson seems like one of the nicest guys in the nba. but would it be that bad if he got injured and missed 10 games?
i feel guilty for hayward missing games, i feel guilty that somehow karma is striking back at me(illogical as it seems and irrational as it seems i do feel it now and again).

but when more and more people start whishing injury on big al, i fear there will be bad karma surrounding the jazz.

anywhoo karma seems like a hog of crap if you look at the goldenstate warriors.

it is just ridculous that Kanter barely gets 5 minutes per game

It's crazy how the future of this organization can hang in the decisions about to take place in just a few short weeks. Trade Kanter and you have a serious problem come summer. Don't make a trade and chances are you will see Favors walk away from this team. If the front office gets it wrong, we may be in a world of hurt for years to come.

Last night coming out for the second half, Sidney Lowe mention Favor and Kanter's defense and then Kanter doesn't even play. Ridiculous!!!! I am fed up with it.

Well it's not like Sidney Lowe decides who plays and doesn't.

If the Jazz trade Kanter or Favors for another washed up vet. My 34 year fan ship will be over. I do not even enjoy the game when the Jazz win.

I don't think they are fooling everyone. Maybe the casual Jazz fan.
All they have to do is look up in the seats, and see the empty green.
Read the message boards. Look at Fanz sales of Big Al, and Marvin jerseys next to Kanter and Favors.
They can't be that dense. Can they...?

With the rotation and the blind regard to the lack of defense between the starters and bench. I am quite sure they can be that dense. And it's beginning to scare me for what they are about to do.

This thread looks even more pessimistic than the Rockets one. You'd think the Jazz lost by 50 points.

I thought we were talking about the front office. Corbin is as dense as they come.

i think we are gonna recycle this thread.
it will be the gaeme thread for jazz at portland.

btw i'd rather lose by 50 and ghet kanter 30 minutes.
than win by 10 and give him5 minutes
