This is fresh off his twitter account about an hour ago.

Update on the Utah Jazz trade front: While I noted several days ago that Paul Millsap appeared to be the likelier
Jazz big man to be dealt before the February trade deadline, an opposing team executive said there is more league-wide interest in Al Jefferson. It is not a lock that either of them is moved before the trade deadline, but there's also no guarantee that only one of them is moved; the exec said it's very conceivable that both could wind up in a different uniform by next season. about an hour ago

What the CRAZY!!!! Lets go over what we just learned:

#1-Neither of them could be traded before the deadline!!!!!

#2-One of them could be traded before the deadline!!!!

#3-Its conceivable that both could be on different teams next season!!


Now the real question is why is Dennis Lindsey or Kevin O'Conner talking to Bucher? I thought the Jazz usually keep quite about their plans. Thats the only explanation on how this information was leaked out. The only other option is that Bucher is using magic to get in contact with Larry Miller's ghost.

We already know/believe both could be moved for the right price. All we are looking for is something that benfits us going forward.
I would love to know the offers being tossed to us right now.

I do hope he's right in that al Jefferson generates more interest. I hope he's traded soon!

If there's league-wide interest that can only mean one thing: he must be good and therefore we should keep him.
 
Bucher missed a couple things.. Showing he doesn't really have good connections.

There is also the possibility that Jeremy Evans is included in one of those scenarios .. And there COULD be a new asst coach on the bench next year.
 
Ill stick with my prediction.

Neither one will be traded, one will definitely be re-signed, with a small chance both are re-signed. Dont laugh. Thats a better possibility of one of them getting traded.

Ill say it again. Zero chance there is a trade.

And I'm sticking to my two year old prediction.
Al will be neither traded nor re-signed.
Paul will be neither traded nor re-signed.

Glad that you are connected PKM, thanks for sharing today. Your inside information made me smile.

I will be kind of relieved when this trade deadline has passed and we can start worrying about who to draft and who will not be resigning with the team.

They'll both be UNRESTRICTED FA's and there's not a snowball's chance in Salt Lake the Jazz can or even would re-sign both. We're not talking LeBron and Dwayne here. Kevin O'Lindsey is not giving any insider info to Bucher. If SA's offer of Splitter and Mills is the best Utah gets, then the Jazz will just keep Jefferson. Mills is not much of an upgrade over Tinsley. And Splitter is expiring, just like Jefferson - or maybe he has an option. Either way, it's almost guaranteed Tiago wouldn't re-up. He'll get a very good multi-year offer.
 
Bucher doesn't work for ESPN. He works for Comcast Sportsnet and covers the Warriors in the Bay Area. He's not as credible as he was at ESPN.
