It's fair to say the Millers' and KOC are in love with Millsap, like truly, madly, deeply. He could have fetched something very decent even if Bledsoe was off the table. To lose him for nothing after these next 27 games would be a big setback, and doesn't make sense from any angle. There are some rich, desperate owners out there, so I don't think it was the right move myself, we'll see.

I bet we let another team set the price then Paul's agent/uncle will say y'all want to match this!!!

I have the feeling that the Jazz will resign both, Millsap and Jefferson and will overpay them.

I see Burks and Kanter being traded to move up in the draft and to get other players.

It's just my thought.

The front office and coaching stuff always do things the fans don't want.

I'm used to it.

I don't care anymore. Me and the Jazz front office are lightyears appart in the way we think. They don't have much in common with the majority of the Jazz fans. Seems unlikely that this Organization will ever win a Championship. They simply lack the ability to take risks in order to achieve a high reward. We are not a big market that is a magnet for Free Agents with big names. We need to take bigger risks if we want to achieve more than the first round of the Playoff's each year.

With the new CBA and people talking about how the next off season is going to be a rude awakening for the crop of next free agents, I wouldn't be surprised if he wound up with an 8 million $ deal. The Jazz WON'T bring back both of them, that would be stupid unless you get one of them on a one year deal.

Paul was always a Jerry Sloan clone, what with his toughness and his work ethic, but he has a couple of problems: Jerry's gone, he has no length (which is KOC's goal latley) and we have another guy named Carroll who is just as tough with the same work ethic for a fraction of the price. And oh, by the way, Carroll is actually a small forward, not a small power forward.

Don't get me wrong, Millsap is better than Carroll, but Carroll is fine coming off the bench, and you only need one tough energy guy with marginal talent.

Right....how much did Hibbert get? Max. How much did D. Jordan get? Close to 11 million a year. How about Batum? Close to 12 million a year.
Millsap statistically crushes all those guys.

I'm certain ill be in the minority here, but I hope the jazz keep Al, if anyone. Millsap rejected an extension already. I'd prefer not to keep an undersized PF and play Favors, Kanter, Millsap etc out of position half the time. Millsap lacks the size (period). He can work his butt off on D and still never get any blocks or disrupt shots.

Add McGee to this list, too.

But Millsap is 28 years old and won't get any better. He is an undersized average starter at the PF position that has reached his maximum. Other guys were very young with a ton of potential when they were resigned. So Millsap's situation is a little bit different. I'd be okay with a 4/36-40 M. deal. If he wants more, let him go. Don't overpay him.

Millsap is definitely having the best season of the group based on per 36 numbers, although "crushing" is a bit strong in some cases. But I think it will take around $12 million per year to sign Millsap.

I don't see Millsap even wanting to be back. He has to believe he will be on the bench soon after he does, and from what we can all tell, he doesn't want that. I think he'll move on. I think we may explore re-signing him, but only for 7-9 mil a year abouts.

People are saying it'd be stupid to resign both big al and millsap, and I agree. People also said it'd be stupid not to make ANY trades at the trade deadline, especially moving one of our two bigs. So I wouldn't be surprised in the least bit if both are back

As long as Jefferson and Millsap are on this team, the Jazz will never start Favors and Kanter.

The Jazz value experience more than talent and potential.

I saw Burchardt or McLeod, Palacio type of players start in front of Okur and D-Will. Both were All-Stars in this league.

This really shows pretty much how the Jazz treat young players. It's disgusting. No young player would want to play for the Jazz.

I didn't see the option for;

The FO's collective nut sacks and the dashing of our dreams of keeping the core together to chase a championship.
