The last time we had a reasonably well respected backup point guard on the roster, Jerry played him. A lot. And last I checked, that guy was actually known for his point guard skills. Do we really want to go down this road again?

Beat me to it, but I was thinking of Knight. Hart only extends the mistake. I'll take my chances with Price and whoever does or doesn't beat out Gaines.
I wondered the same thing when I read the second tweet. Was he in Salt Lake working out at ZBBC, or in somewhere else playing HORSE for 12 teams?

He started over TJ Ford at Indiana last year. His turnover-to-assist ratio was great. I've read he's a good defender; averaged 1.3 steals a game. A definite upgrade over Gaines. I think he'd be a great fit in a structured offense like the Jazz; Jerry would slow down his shot-taking!
