Let's make our voice heard. Above are links to the two articles from the Des News and Trib about which you can comment, and the Facebook Fire Corbin Page, and the phone number to the Jazz Administrative Offices.

In the immortal words of Popeye, "I've had all I can stands and I can't stands no more," or as Peter Finch said in Network, "I'm mad as hell and I'm not gonna take it anymore!"

This page doesn't seem to be paragraphing properly but the links appear to be working

The problem is the franchise would never change based on what fans say. I've said for a few years that when Greg pushes the fans away from the game (less viewership, less ticket sales, less merchandise, etc.) they will not look at what they need to change to get the fans back, instead they'll blame the fans and accuse them of not supporting the team and bring out the threats of being forced to relocate. Zero accountability.

Let the fans run the organization. I'm sure that would end well.

This is the most hackneyed idea that gets conveyed. The template goes something like: fans are lay people and notoriously stupid, while people who do things as a profession are privy to the ins and outs of the game and have more at stake -- therefore, benefit of the doubt ceded to the informed is the logical choice.

Fans are stupid. Jazz fans are stupid. JazzFanz are stupid. That's why it's so embarrassing. The template failed. The organization could be better run by the average idiot on this board. That's awfully telling.

Also consider all of the dumb things franchises have done (hell, just look at Kahn in Minnesota). Why is our franchise somehow immune from making mistakes that everyday fans wouldn't?

The Millers sign the checks, but the fans pay the salaries.

From the Deseret News:

The Jazz’s coach said it was “not hard at all” to make the decision to keep Favors on the bench in favor of Kanter or Millsap.

Sigh.

If Al and Paul are re-signed and this coach extended next year, gotta change teams. It's not worth the torture.

I am seeing this alot.

Honest question...what would Favors have brought tot he table that Millsap or Kanter didn't? It's not like he sat a hot Favors for a no D playing Big Al. Kanter and Sap both hit big shots and produced.

Organizations make mistakes and do stupid things i.e. Sacramento in general .... but yes fans for the most part are complete idiots with no clue as to what is actually going on.

I think moving on from Smallsap is one of the many necessary steps.

There is a reason that the season we got Favors everyone was talking about how Millsap can't be a starter on a contending team. Now some want him re-signed.

Maybe a lot of this fanbase is becoming content with mediocrity and being the Eastern Hawks.

I'm not.

So where does our franchise, as presently constituted, stand? Do we know or are we just following the template? If it didn't follow the template, would you recognize it?

I think Millsap could be fantastic for this franchise if he would take a backup role. I seriosuly doubt that will happen but I think Sap has a place on this team.

I've always said resign Millsap. Now I have serious reservations, not because of Millsap but because of Corbin. Millsap accepting a bench role would be irrelevant.

How so? As long as Big Al is not back as well Ty will have to play Kanter and Favors large minutes. Ty has already shown that he is willing to sit Sap at the end of games.

What is your thinking?

If Favors and Kanter earn the starting spot, it won't matter. It was unbelievably painful last year with the Howard and Bell fiasco that I would have thought Corbin learned something. This season he keeps repeating the same garbage and shows absolutely no signs of changing, either out of absolute stupidity or complete stubbornness.

Favors brings a defensive presence, a guy who protects the rim, which neither Kanter or Millsap provide, at least not nearly as well. Why do you think Hayward and others were cheating so much in the paint? This allowed the Bucks to get some wide open threes that killed us. Plus how do you sit a guy who was hot like Favors. It's unconscionable. It's bad for the player's morale, for team chemistry, it doesn't reward effort -- what kind of message is Corbin sending? He has very poor management skills. He needs a lesson and he needs to be sent to the bench to learn this.

OK now the D part I can get behind. However the bolded part is a false arguement to me as Kanter and Millsap were going off as well.

I agree on Corbin.

It. is. not. about. what. Favors. could. have. brought. to. the. table.

It's about Favors earning more than ZERO minutes in the final 17 and staying seated. It's about team chemistry. It's about having confidence in your coach. It's about being given a reason to kick ***.

I bet even those that played are perplexed and pissed that Favors wasn't rewarded.

What really hurts is when we are clearly out-coached in a game. The Bucks game was a glaring example of Ty's incompetence. Not playing Favors in the forth, having three starters who didn't score, the final play in regulation, not fouling when up by three, I could go on and on. I don't know if Ty is just playing it safe and trying to please the GMs. But he clearly is not improving so why not be your own coach. Get out of Jerry's shadow and be your own man.

Now here is a better arguement. I agree that Favors should have played in the 4th. Ty showing his poor management skills.
