The Official Fire Ty Corbin Thread

Locke can be idiot at times too. This is what you call damage control. A Red herring in not addressing the issue of the effects of not playing Favors which are much greater than simply losing the ball game.

We have a 45% three point shot in our arsenal? Lets change that to 35%, and maybe even 20% the last few games. But yes Alfense is boring as hell.

Did you see the screen shots I put up the other day? Granted I can't prove Foye's 41% overall or Hayward's 40% overall would translate into 45+% on wide open, uncontested three point shots but I'm willing to go out on a limb suggesting the statistics would show this. 41 & 40% include rushed shots, contested shots, and expiring clock heaves. Either way, I'll take a 40% 3 point shot over Al's .52 ts% every single time. Kanter finds them, Al doesn't.

Hartsock was probably one of "those" guys last year that thought playing Raja Bell and Josh Howard over Gordon Hayward was a brilliant move, all on the basis that the Jazz management can do no wrong because they're professionals and we are just fans.

Try using your god damned brain.

He might not have thought it was brilliant, but im quite sure he defended it.

Foye is shooting .409% from 3 this year and .217% over the last 5. He is at .374% for his career.

Look guys, The Norm and Teenie Weenie showed up at the same time to bash Utah Jazz fans. What a coincidence.

Not bashing Jazzfanz, I've been on here since the site started. I'm just bashing people who make posts that are not well supported or not well thought out, or respond with knee jerk reactions in support of someone just because he's a member of the Jazz.

It's not that Corbin sometimes makes a mistake, he's constantly making mistakes, which leads to the ultimate conclusion that hiring him as a coach was a HUGE mistake.

The thing that bothered me about not putting Favors in is apprx at the 5 min mark of regulation or may have been the overtime. Paul Millsap was being shut down by Larry Sanders. When 3 quarters before. Favors was taking it to Sanders and dominating. Where is the coach to counter against this mismatch? That is one of many reasons his coaching abilities needs to be looked at in my opinion.

Now this is a good arguement. Corbin has routinely shown an unwillingness to substitute in OT periods.

I think several people have already made this argument in this thread. I have made it numerous times throughout this season.

Good for you. I am pointing out that it is a much better arguement than"Favors was HOT!" when Sap and Kanter were scorign alot as well.

Let me get this straight: Jazz lose a close match in which the three bigs all put up impressive numbers. A lynch mob forms out of a bunch of individual temper tantrums, & calls for Corbin's head. Yet it's the rational posters trying to bring the discussion back to reality by having an open dialogue are the ones knee jerking?

What alternate universe do you pretend to come from? Screwball.

Didn't you make that huge angry rant against Corbin just last week?

How about considering the specifics instead of the generalities -- don't rely on numbers but what actually happened. Poor support for your argument if you rely on generalities. The bashing has to do with the turd's game management not how many points and rebounds each big got. Did that get us a win? And how does that make us a screwball -- it just makes you dumb for calling me that.
